7 hours. That's all they have left after the meeting concluded. 7 hours to prepare for the threat of a lifetime. 7 hours until they fought for their lives, their family and the fate of the world. Who knew what came next? No one. And that scared Reina more than she ever would lead on. Her life on earth and beyond had always been predictable at least. As the heir to the throne in Asgard she had a schedule to stick to as she learned to be a proper queen. Actually being a Queen was a little more chaotic but still has structure. The academy had been the same, a scheduled day. Training, breakfast, education, lunch, more lessons, dinner, more training. A predictable schedule that didn't budge unless it was the weekend when the 2nd lesson was replaced by free time. Even when she left, no matter where she traveled too she kept a schedule. She felt it gave her life a purpose. Although the schedule changed, it was always there and now it was gone. All she had was a time limit and she didn't know what to do.

6 hours left. Reina was running around trying to get everything ready. There was so much to do but when she actually thought about it, there was nothing. Nothing they could to to stop this and nothing they could do at this point to but she stayed busy because if she didn't she knew doubt would start to cloud her mind, so she figured trying to stay busy was a better option.

5 hours left. Reina sat on a couch, looking over her staff before applying the enhancer that Phastos had made when Druig walked in and sat next to her. Although Reina stopped to look at him, neither of them knew what to say so Druig settled with a simple "Hey"

"Hi" Reina replied with a forced smile. Both of them had so much they wanted to say but neither of them knew how to say it or even if they should. Druig sighed and wrapped his arm around Reina and rested his head on hers.

"I love you," Reina broke the silence suddenly, "And Thank you."

"I love you too, with everything I am, but why are you thanking me?" The confusion on Druig's face was clear but Reina had to say it. She couldn't think of her possibly dying in this fight without Druig knowing how she really felt.

"Thank you for teaching me what love is. Thank you for teaching me what a home is. Thank you for being my home." Reina couldn't stop the tears from brimming in her eyes although she had eternals, gods and the academy behind her, she couldn't shake the feeling that something was going to go wrong. She had worked so hard to get a good place. She was happy. She had her memories back. She had her family, both of them and she had a fiance that she loved more than anything. She wasn't ready to loose that. Not yet. Not ever.

Druig's smile grew as his eyes got misty. He pulled Reina close to him, not wanting to let go. "I have to thank you too. You showed me how to be open again. You showed me that life has a purpose."

They stayed there for a few minutes. They knew they couldn't stay there for forever, as much as they wanted too. A war was coming and they needed to be ready. So, rather begrudgingly, Druig walked out and Reina went back to examining her staff.

4 hours left. Everything's ready. Everyone's ready. The Domo's in place. They are as ready as we are going to get. Now all we can do is wait.
