"That's one way to explain it." Thor states matter of factly.

"Okay, So what about the deviants?" Sprite asked again, getting annoyed that no one had answered her question yet.

"Odin was always an angry man. Anyone who annoyed him or failed him he turned into a deviant and sent to earth. He sent a lot of deviants to earth after we lost Reina, anyone who was supposed to protect her he saw as a failure so he cursed them all. Only the ruler of Asgard can undo it."

"So that's why Reina was able to." Druig whispered under his breath but loud enough for the others to hear. The room goes silent until Reina finally spoke again.

"So what's the next step?"

"Loki can use his powers to get into your mind and unlock your memories from when you lived on Asgard." Hela spoke up again, stepping forward.

"Only one little issue with that, My mind can't be controlled. Druig tried, Allison tried. They both failed."

"I tried when we were kids too. I also failed. But we all failed because we tried to do it against you, but if you let me into your mind, I can go straight to the memories that are hidden and unlock them." Loki explained. "This could be the only way."

Reina simply nods to say she'll do it. She led only her and Loki to a more secluded part of the domo by his request. Entering a wide open room they found a strange statue in the center but neither of them paid it much mind. They both walked to the opposite end of the room and Loki sat down on the floor, motioning for Reina to do the same. Despite her hesitations, she sat across from him and awaited instruction when Loki held his hand out.

When Reina looked at him questioningly, he claimed, "It will help with the connection so I can go into your mind." Reina nodded again as Loki continued, "Now I need you to close your eyes and imagine your mind as a long hallway with doors on either side."

"That's not cliche at all," she joked. Loki laughed then continued.

"I know, I know but it actually works." Reina nodded and closed her eyes. "I want you to imagine each of the doors having a little plaque on them of different memories with the ones you remember most at the front. Now there is a door at the entrance of the hallway. Open it" The minute she did she felt Loki's presence in her mind as he walked down the hallway she created, glancing at each door.

Loki saw each door, looking closely for the one he needed. He saw doors marked "proposal", "The Attack", "Reunion", "Arrival" but he reached the end of the hall quicker than expected. The door at the end read "Academy". He continued to walk through the next section, finding doors labeled "training", "Sneaking out", "Mission". He found many doors labeled with the word Mission followed by a location like the bank or lab but one just read "The mission" with no details

After half an hour of walking he got to another door. This one wasn't labeled and had a lock on the door. Putting his hand up to the lock, a green mist formed around his hand and the lock simply dropped off the door. He reached for the door knob, turned it slowly then pushed out allowing the door to swing open. Once it did, a strong gust of wind pushed him back through the empty halls and out of Reina's head.

When he opened his eyes once again he found himself sitting in the same position he was and Reina right across from him with her eyes closed.

"Well? Do you remember?" He asked, his growing hope that he might have his sister back. It took her a minute to open her eyes but when she did, Loki felt the hope that his sister would remember him disappear. The way she looked at him did not change. He was still a stranger in her eyes. And what she said next only confirmed his suspicions.

"I'm sorry, I don't remember you." And with that, his heart broke.
