The Lost Queen (Druig x OC) (Eternals)

Part 18: Unbreakable

The ground continued to shake, getting stronger and stronger as Druig and Reina ran down the hallway back to where everyone else was.

"What the hell is happening?" Reina shooted once she entered Phatos's lab. Everyone was already gathered and on their feet. They were all looking around the room as if the thing that was causing it would pop into the room with them. 

"How are we supposed to know?" Ikarus screamed as he held Sersi close to his chest to protect her. The ground continued to shake more and more until parts of the ceiling started to fall to the ground as the Domo could no longer take the pressure. As soon as Druig saw the piece start to fall, he automatically pulled Reina close to him, in an attempt to shield her with his body. Looking around Reina saw all her siblings had tried to hide under the tables or fell to the floor covering their heads. Luther was on the floor using his body to cover Allison. She couldn't let her family get hurt. She couldn't let Druig get hurt. She had to protect them. She pushed Druig gently on her and held a hand up to the sky. Her eyes closed in concentration as she felt the power course through her veins, shooting up her arm, into her hand and finally to her fingers before streaks of bright blue erupted from her fingertips into the air, forming a dome around all the eternals and Hargreaves, protecting them from any falling debris. Pieces of rock hit the ice dome and simply bounced off, falling to the side. A few seconds later the ground stopped shaking and everyone breathed a sigh of relief

"How is the ice not breaking under the weight of the rock?" Phastos questioned as he stood up and started to examine the ice shield Reina created.

Reina, however, was too busy making sure everyone was okay, So Viktor answered for her. "Reina's ice is unbreakable, The only person who can get rid of it is Reina. Always puzzled our father."

"Unbreakable? Really? Nothing's unbreakable." Ikarus said as he walked to the edge of the shield.

Druig leaned into Reina's ear and whispered, "Is he going to be able to break it?"

"No way, he might break his hand though." Reina claimed with a smirk, obviously annoyed by Ikarus's arrogance

"Oh, I can't wait to see that!" Druig's smirk only grew at the prospect.

"I have a feeling you're about to"

Before they could say anything else Ikarus slammed his fist into the barrier. An audible crack was heard causing Ikarus to scream in pain and pull his fist away. As Reina had predicted, the ice remained intact and Ikarus was clenching his hand as if he broke it causing Druig to burst out laughing, Thena and Gilgamesh to snicker and many of the Hargreave siblings to stifle a laugh. Reina nudged Druig to signal him to stop but he couldn't help himself as Ajak walked over to Ikarus and healed his hand.

Sprite walked over to the ice wall as Reina made it start to disappear slowly. "Well, that's impressive. How is it that strong?"

"No Idea, just is" Reina stated bluntly as she headed for the door of the domo. Before anyone could stop her she was outside but her siblings and Druig followed close behind her. It didn't take long to find what had caused the earth to shake as it did. Only about 100 feet away from the domo, lay a bigger air ship. Familiarity struck Reina but she couldn't place why. The ship was dark gray and a weird shape. The head looked like a triangle with no tip with a circular part in the middle and what looked like wings at the back. A ramp slowly appeared out of the side of the ship, touching down onto the uneven sand as 3 figures appeared and walked down. 1 of the figures was a female with long dark hair and a black body suit with green outlines. She looked to have smudged black eyeshadow around her green eyes and she wore a green cape behind her. The other 2 looked to be male. One had dark black hair down to his shoulders and also wore a black outfit with green and gold adornments. He also had green eyes and a green cape. The last one however looked different. He had almost gold hair that reached past his shoulders. He wore silver armor and a red cape and had bright blue eyes like Reina's.

After several seconds the woman steps forward with a smile on her face. She looked at Reina, seemingly entranced by her for a few seconds, before she finally spoke, "Hello sister. It's been so long."
