And there they were. On a plane back to the same academy that she spent most of her life running from. Reina headed back willingly as their "destinies" were being fulfilled.

*Flashback*

"This Academy was created for greater things than this" their father bellowed at them after a failed mission. They were only 12 yet they were expected to fight battles that the police couldn't handle. Reina couldn't take this anymore. She saw her siblings cower away from his loud voice but she did the opposite. She stood taller as anger filled her eyes.

"And what exactly were we created for that you had to ruin us? You ruined our childhoods, our lives. You're willing to put us in danger of dying, and for what? For your own benefit." Her siblings stood in shock as they saw their sister finally stand up to their father.

"Reina stop" Luther whispered into her ear but it was too late, she wasn't backing down.

"You never cared about us. You just cared about fame. If we all died tomorrow you wouldn't even care. We are kids. We shouldn't be fighting the battles that you are too much of a coward to fight but you still want the recognition for. You are a selfish bastard that never should have been allowed to adopt children let alone 8." Reina continued. Her voice got stronger as her rant continued. She hated what he was doing and she had finally had enough.

"You dare disrespect me, number 8" Reginald eyed the girl trying to intimidate her but to no avail.

"You don't deserve my respect." Reina spoke clearly, with a scarily calm voice as she spoke with no hesitation as her eyes glowed red and her hair started to flame. Reginald was taken aback by the girl's boldness and though he would never admit it, that day he gained much respect for Reina and he knew he had made the right choice when adopting her. The rest of the academy looked in shock as they saw their sister standing tall against their father.

"Children go to your room." The rest of the academy scurried up to their room while Reina stood her ground. Once all the others were gone, Reginald led Reina into his office and sat down at his desk. He motioned to the chair in front of him as Reina sat down with her shoulders still back, and she sat tall as if it were a throne, a look of hatred in her eyes as she looked at her "father".

"If you are going to punish me, just do it. I'm not afraid of you. And it won't change the fact that everything I said was true and you know it." Reina's voice was laced with detest but her father just shook his head.

"I'm not going to punish you Reina, Standing up to me took a lot of courage" Reina wasn't falling for her father's words. Her shoulders stayed back and her guard stayed up. "The truth is, I created the academy to save the world."

"Against what?" Curiosity struck Reina as she leaned forward in the chair.

"When you are older this world will meet its impending doom. It will be up to you and your sibling to save it" Reina had heard enough. She scoffed, got up and walked to the door, but she paused and turned back.

"Why would I save such a cruel world? You've seen the stuff we've fought. Is there any point to saving a world that has been destroying itself since it began."

"It's your destiny Reina"

"I choose my destiny"

"You can't change it. It's inevitable. It's your fate"

"I don't believe in fate" The words echoed in her mind. She didn't believe it back then, but what about now? I mean how could she not believe it, It was happening. This was their destiny. This was it. This is what she was made for. This is what they were raised for. All the abuse, the lies, the pain. It all led up to this.

*End flashback*

The engine died down as they landed which pulled Reina out of her head. She looked down to see Druig asleep on her shoulder and she smiled to herself. Then she looked out the window. There it was. The Academy. Her old home. She never expected to be back here. Yet here she was. No turning back now.
