"Reina Odindottir," Surtur's voiced boomed out, "We meet again. Are you sure you want to do this?"
"Are you forgetting who won last time?" Although Reina's voice didn't match the volume, it never faltered or wavered. Her voice remained stronger than ever . She showed no fear and no hesitation as her head hung high despite how nervous and shaky she was inside. She could never let that show. Surtur could never know the nerves he gave her. She wasn't going to give him that advantage so despite the situation she held strong.
"Barely," Surtur did little to hide the tint of amusement in his voice, "and you still died. And that was when you were a god. May I remind you that you are a mortal now. A meer human with no powers. How do you expect to beat me again?"
Reina couldn't help but laugh. He really thought that it would be that easy. Oh how wrong he was. Reina held out her hand to the side as a flame appear in it. Holding the other one out a blue flame appear, her eyes never leaving Surtur. "Who said my powers were gone?"
"How... How is that possible?" Surtur's voice shifted quickly from confusion to anger.
"You're not smart enough to understand that." Reina remarked only making Surtur angrier. She knew what she was doing. She was playing with fire and having fun doing it. Her mocking demeanor only getting to him more and more as her smile grew. "You have nothing against me anymore." She claimed as if it were a statement and in a way it was.
"We'll see," Surtur couldn't help but retort, "You have your army. I have mine."
"Who would be dumb enough to fight for you?"
"Not who, but what." Surtur raised his hand toward the remains of the mountain that had laid still since he had emerged from it. With his hand outstretched the mountain now began to emit a beam of light that shot into the sky. With the light came smaller figures, pilling out of the mountain. Hundreds of them. The creatures were no bigger than a 4 feet tall. They shared a similar look to Surtur except much smaller. They all landed on their feet surrounding the mountain. "I would like to introduce you to my army and let's not forget about my second in command."
A smirk grew on his face as his hand fell to his side. The mountain cracked even more until it burst open, revealing one more figure. She was only a few foot smaller than Surtur, being bigger than Reina remember her to be. Despite her height she looked exactly as she did when Reina had created her. Ta Ka looked straight at Reina with no hint of recollection in her expression. Here eyes glowed orange and her body was made of lava rock. Lava flowed through her body like blood flowed through veins as the lava's glow broke through her skin
"Ta Ka...What has he done to you?" Reina heard Hela mumble under her breathe stating a sentiment that both the sisters shared. It was hard to believe that the Elemental in front of them had been the same that Reina had created so many years ago. Her mannerisms were different, she hadn't said a word yet and just stood there, staring at them with dead eyes. It was quite unsettling.
"Well, I don't see why we should delay this any longer." Surtur's voices boomed out as his arms crossed in front of him and he faces toward Reina and the rest of the group. Reina looked away from Ta Ka and back at Surtur, her expression hardening into stone "Let's start, shall we?"
He eyed Reina up and down menacingly. Reina only smirked in return, not breaking eye contact with him. "Bring it on."
Battle cries filled the air as the 2 sides charged each other.
