Kumunot agad ang noo ko nung mapansing nagkalat ang mga tao rito sa unang palapag palang ng building, may mga nag uusap pero karamihan sa mga babae na puro pagpapaganda ang inaatupag.

I roamed my eyes around and saw na halos puro babae ang nandito, mahigit isang daan yata sila kasama na yung mga nakaupo sa lounge area. May mga paalis narin, yung iba ay umiiyak pa. Anong meron?

Pero infairness ang gaganda nila, ang sexy pa nung iba at hindi ko alam, sinadya yatang masyadong revealing yung suot na dress, kundi sobrang ikli ay ang baba naman nung nasa dibdib. Napatingin tuloy ako sa suot ko.

I'm wearing a white floral dress which has off shoulder sleeves and its length was just right on my knees paired with a simple white sandals and I let my wavy hair down. I also just put light make up on my face since I'm really planning to visit him here, namakahiya naman kasi kung muka akong dukha na naligaw dito sa nakakalulang building nila.

I squint my eyes when I found a familiar face. If I'm not mistaken he's with Luan that night in the bar. Is he working here- oh no, I think he's not, he's not wearing an id like the others.

I took a deep breath before walking near him with a smile on my face. He's also smiling while talking- no seems like he's flirting with them.

"Uhm hello, excuse me" there I caught his attention.

I saw him surveyed me from head to toes that made me step backwards and put my hands on my back.

"Hello, you looked familiar. Have I seen you before?" he asked while still smiling.

I saw the other girls rolled their eyes before bidding their goodbyes, they even kissed his cheeks and glared at me as if I stole their food. Psh sorry girls, I'm not interested in this one. Luan were more hotter and handsome than him, he's also good in bed and rich as fvck, I couldn't ask for more.

"I'm not sure" I gave him a nervous smile. "Uh- can I ask a question?"

"Sure, what is it?"

"Is Luan here? I-"

"Ven! Pinapatawag ka ni Luan, lagot ka mainit nanaman ulo nun" a man suddenly appeared and tap his shoulder.

Ven? His name is Ven?

"Eto na pupunta na" sabi n'ya sa lalaki bago bumaling sa'kin. "Oh yes, miss, he's in his office" ngiting sabi nito bago kumindat at maglakad paalis.

Sinundan ko s'ya hanggang sa elevator, kumunot pa ang noo n'ya kaya ninenerbyos akong ngumiti at pumwesto ss likod n'ya. He shrugged his shoulder before pressing the number 35 in the floor button.

Napahawak tuloy ako sa gilid nung biglang gumalaw ang elevator. Agad akong kinabahan at kumuha ng candy sa bag ko. I have motion sickness, maselan ang katawan ko kaya palagi akong nagbabaon ng candy para mabawasan ang hilo ko.

Namayani ang katahimikan dito sa loob ng elevator. Wala ni isa sa'min ang nagsalita, busy rin naman s'ya sa cellphone n'ya kaya hindi ako pinapansin pero napaayos ako agad ng tayo nung tinago n'ya iyon sa bulsa n'ya at humarap sa'kin.

"May I know what brought you here? If you're one of the applicants then you should just stay there in the lobby" sabi nitong si Ven habang nakatingin sa'kin.

"I- I brought foods for him-"

"Oh girl baka itapon lang n'ya yan. Hindi mo madadaan si Luan sa paganyan ganyan para lang pumasa. Masyadong mataas standards nun sa pagpili ng employees" nakangising putol nito sa sasabihin ko bago yumingin sa dala kong paperbag.

Hindi naman ako nakasagot at kinagat lang ang ibabang labi.

Bahagya rin akong nakaramdam ng kirot sa dibdib dahil sa sinabi n'ya. Totoo naman kasi na baka itapon nga lang n'ya 'tong pagkain na dala ko. He's Luan, a Lewis, he could buy the restaurant the sells the most tastiest food in the country in just one demand.
