Doug

Doug is one of the characters of the Disney Channel Original Movie, Descendants and its sequels, Descendants 2 and Descendants 3. He is one of Dopey's sons.

Doug is portrayed by Zachary Gibson.

Doug is a character from the Descendants franchise. Doug currently works as the accountant for Evie's 4 Hearts.

Official Description

Doug is the son of Dopey, the most playful and silly of the Seven Dwarfs. He plays several instruments and is in the marching band.

Personality

Doug is an intelligent individual. Typical for someone who's an intellectual, Doug is very calm and does not express his emotions very well. Even when he had a crush on Evie, he did not stutter with nervousness as most people do. After they started dating when he held Evie's hand when discussing her plans to buy a castle, he did not show any signs of emotions or even smile, even though his love for Evie was evident. The only time he expressed emotions was when he thought Evie was seeing someone else and was afraid of losing her.

He is part of Auradon Prep's marching band and is a talented musician who ironically takes a liking to The Evil Queen's daughter, Evie. They share a couple's dance.

Six months after Evie's moving to Auradon, he started helping her with her gown orders and expanding her business.

Descendants 3

As Ben ascorts Mal to the event, Doug has the band play a song while he plays guitar when Ben starts to sing Did I Mention. Evie nearly tells Doug "I love you", but quickly changes the subject out of embarrassment.

Evie finds Doug asleep in her sewing room. Uma and Mal flatly tell Evie to wake him with true love's kiss. Asking to be alone, Evie wonders if what she has with Doug is true love. Deciding that there's only one way to find out, she kisses him and Doug wakes. ("One Kiss")

Doug and Gil offer to come with Jane to keep her safe, while Ben reveals he knows the location of fairy cottage. Jane arrives at the museum with Doug and Gil, finding her mother turned to stone. Unable to use the wand herself (lest risk another disaster like poking a hole in the barrier again), Jane sits nearby with Doug and Gil to keep her mother safe.

At the celebration, Doug is with Evie, Carlos and Jay, listening to Mal's speech and smiled after she brought the barrier down. Everyone started to dance and Doug danced with Evie and bowed welcoming the Isle Kids to join them, as in mid dance, Harry asked if Evie was single and Doug put his arm around her and said Evie's taken and they smiled at one another and continued to dance.
