Amely's POV

I open my eyes, my head still spinning after. we decided to go out drinking last night. Me, Cassian, Azriel, Mor, and even the High lord himself join us, I didn't drink that much that night, Only took a one-shot. I need that to shake off all the thoughts in my head about what happened in the library, but after that, carrying Azriel is the hardest part. But Cassian Help me with it.

Azriel is still Asleep I thought he will be up right now, it's Six in the morning. Well, It's my turn to get ready, But First, wake up the Old Bat. I go to his side of the bed, his Left hand on top of his head the ribbon tangled around it. I wiggle my hand to make him slap himself.

"Wake up, Sleepy Old Bat," I Said softly. Smack!, He hit his face. The Shadowsinger woke up and fell on my left shoulder." Wait, Mor don't leave me ... you smell nice" he said sleepily and hugged me tightly.

His word broke something in me, it's weird but hurt. "Hey, Big guy we have to get ready" He opens his eyes and looks at me just standing there. "Hi?..." I said to The Shadowsinger Sleepy face, His eyes widened.

"We have to get ready" He Drag me to the bathroom and I sat on the chair, Shocked by what just happened.

The clock chimed ten. Time to go...

Rhys will winnow us off the coast, right to the invisible line where the wall bisected our world. There was a tear in its magic about half a mile offshore—which we'd fly through.

I stood in that hallway, looking at all of them in their fighting leathers same as mine and Feyre bundled in a heavy, fur-lined cloak,

"I'll fly with Azriel." My eyes widened hearing feyre said.

"Are your sure Feyre, you know that Azriel is stuck with Amely" Cassian broke the silence...

"Fine... I will go with Cassian then" Feyre sighed and then Rhys winnowed in Cassian And Feyre first, returning a heartbeat later for me and Azriel.

I had never been winnowed before, The blackness and everything it's new to me, and Azriel's scarred hands clenched softly around me, my arms entwined around his neck...Waiting for a little blinding sunlight, Then we tilted, shooting straight. Azriel's body was warm and hard, though those brutalized hands were considerate as he gripped me.

"Wait... why it's still dark?" I look around, I can feel the wind but it's still dark...

"Your eyes are shut and your hands covering it," Azriel said, his low voice nearly swallowed up by the wind."Oh... I know that Az, I just don't trust you Anymore." "Just Open your eyes... you will Love the view"... "Promise not to drop me?" Im scared that he try anything funny, and if he did I will Close my eyes until we made it to The human world.

"I want to drop you, but it means I will fall too, then I Promise" My arms are tightly entwined around his neck, and I Open my eyes to see the fantastic view, I can see the mountains, even touch the clouds.

"Just...Don't look down" Azriel said, again his low voice swallowed up by the wind.

I smiled Seeing the view all of this, my eyes wander around the beautiful view and then stop looking at the little smile on Azriel's icy face, but then he tightened his grip, a silent warning to brace myself. How did he know where the cleft was, I had no idea.

I don't want to open my eyes anymore. Then we were out. The wind was biting, the temperature so cold it snatched my breath from me. It's like im taking a cold bath.

Azriel banked, veering toward the coastline, And I saw Rhys and Cassian and feyre was now sweeping over the land.

I shivered, Maybe Feyre's fur-lined cloak was warm, I jolted clinging to Azriel's warmth. He is so warm... I need him.
