Azriel's POV

Last night, I was happy... Making Amely Smile when she sees the lanterns, I want to keep that smile on her face, her green eyes shine when she looked at the night sky, I can't believe that she was my mate.

However, when we ate dinner, her smile disappeared... What did I do wrong? I did all of this for her, to make her feel at home again, even though by coincidence we go to the orphanage, and she played with the kids, which remembers me of when she played with the kids in the Valley...

After dinner, I walked her to her room, she was quiet all the way there, But she smiled one last time when she said good night to me and closed the door...

So, I walk up to my room, thinking over and over again, I will tell her ... but she is still not open with me, what is in your mind Amely... you making me think over and over again, what will happen if I tell you?

I lay on my bed, looking around my empty room, I was lonely, I miss the curtain in the middle of my bed that separated us, I miss Amely sleeping on her pillow fort, I Miss every little thing we had a couple of months ago, I think I miss the RibbonAlive that made us close...

The next day, I was walking through the hallway and I saw Amely coming out of her room, "Oh...Hi Azriel,", "Good morning... it seems like you're busy?" her eyes widened, "Uhh...yeah, I'm about to train with Cassian Upstairs, well you're busy too?", "Oh, Yeah I'm about to go to Help Rhysand,"

Well, this is awkward... Should I tell her? Or no– "Cool, Well I have to get going, Cassian will give me 50 Push up if im late,", "Oh...Oh Okay..." Amely left but she turned around and waved back at me, "Good luck, with your work," she ran away, "You too..."

Two weeks have passed, Me and Amely...we never talk, like we always do... but now we're just saying Hi at breakfast and good night at Dinner, we're both have been busy, and it breaks my heart doing only that...

"Good morning, You two," Mor cheerily walking to the kitchen, I was eating pancakes with Cassian, "Morning, Mor," Cassian said as he munched on his food, and I nodded at Her, "Good morning all," Amely enters from behind Mor.

She was wearing her training gear, and she looked healthy now, because of all the training she had with Cassian, "Oh my Cauldron, My Patient is healthy now Look at you those cheeks are chubby," Mor said playing with Amely's cheeks, "Someone help, she's killing me..", "Mor, Let her eat her breakfast," I said coldly.

"Thank you, But No thanks... I already eat," Amely said holding her red cheeks as Mor sat next to Cassian, My eyes widened at her answer, "You already eat?", "yeah...I Wake up early and go training while waiting for Cassian To wake up," Amely said walking up to us.

"Im Sorry, Amely... I was Training with my Soldiers last night and overslept, but we can train if you want?" Cassian said as he finish his pancakes, "Sure if you can?", "Well, Okay let's go, the last to go upstairs going to do 100 push up," Amely Rush to the balcony, and Cassian follows.

I just sat there, eyes widened, looking at how close they were, "So, Amely has been ignoring you these past few weeks, huh?" Mor crossed her arms, I nodded, and Mor sighed, "You know, you do the right thing, but Sometimes...Amely Talked about so many things About Lucas,", "And why are you telling me this?"
