30 - The most beautiful toad

I saw a beautiful blonde girl with blue eyes enter the house with what seemed to be a brown version of Valary, she told me earlier she had a twin sister, named Michelle. 

"I think I need two more, Jim." 

"Easy now… Look at this." He said, opening a bottle of beer with his shoe, making me laugh. 

"She's a fucking gorgeous snake." I whispered to him.

"Don't let that beauty fool you." Jimmy said, quickly glancing at them. "I think Zacky wants you over there." 

Indeed, Zacky was standing next to Michelle and Gena and looking in my direction. Fuck. I came over, hopefully the alcohol would kick in fast enough. I smiled at Zacky and he put his hand on my lower back. 

"I want to introduce you to Michelle, Val's twin sister and Gena." 

"Nice to meet you both. Alissa. You can call me Ali." I said to them politely. 

Zacky wrapped his arm around my shoulders. 

"I thought you were Jimmy's friend at first." Gena commented.

"Well, I am. I knew him when I was a kid." 

"Never heard of you before." She added. 

"I met her a month and a half ago. I reunited them after they lost contact. She's my date." He pecked my cheek, making me smile slightly. I noticed Gena glared at me. 

"So, I see the new album is successful. Congratulations." Michelle changed the topic of discussion. 

"Yeah, we are so grateful for the fan's response to it, it is just crazy." Zacky said. 

Gena left to see Valary further in the living room. Zacky left too in the opposite direction, saying he needed a beer. What was that about? Did he just ask me to come over so she would get jealous? Now, I needed more alcohol. I went to the fridge to get one of the bottles of wine that Jess and I brought earlier. I took two red solo cups and made us two gigantic servings of white wine. I went to see her, who was chatting with Jimmy and Brian and handed her one of the very full cups. 

"Thank you hon. How are you? We saw you over there." Jess took a sip. 

"Feeling like a toad. She's gorg… I cannot compete." I chugged half of my cup. 

"You are the most beautiful toad I have ever seen. We'd rather have toads than snakes around here anyway." Jimmy said. 

I spat the sip I had in my mouth and laughed so hard. 

"Thank you, Jim. You're the best." I hugged him. I saw Gena staring at me. I ignored her.

There were a lot of people in this house, with more and more coming by the minute. I lost sight of Zacky with everyone else in here. The guys had invited family, friends, other bands like Atreyu who became close friends after Warped Tour in their beginning. 

Jess drank to keep her cool as there were bands that she loved, bands that she spent her money on to see live. And now they were in the same room as her. Just talking with Synyster Gates was a difficult test for her, so was avoiding Johnny. She was doing fine for now. She offered to play a game of beer pong with the four of us, so next thing we knew we were placing cups on the kitchen island. Still no Zacky in sight. I finally saw him coming with Matt thirty minutes later. Zacky smiled at me. 

"Here comes the frog." Syn stated. 

We all laughed while he raised one eyebrow, clearly confused. 

"Your girl's a toad" he said. "That makes you the frog." Brian opened himself another beer.

"What?" Zacky chuckled. 

"You don't want to know." I shook my head. 

"Having fun?" He kissed me on my neck. I closed my eyes. 

"Yeah, especially right now." I grinned.

"Get a room, lovebirds." Jess said in disgust. 

"I saw you naked so I'm pretty sure you can handle a kiss." I retorted.

They all bursted into laughter except Jess who was now angry with me. 

We made a couple of rounds, improvised a tournament. Matt and Jimmy were the finalists. Matt was very competitive and Jimmy's shots were precise, as he played Basketball all of his childhood. Jimmy seemed drunk, however the alcohol didn't seem to impact his motor skills. He finally won. 

"Fuck YEAAAH !" He screamed. 

As we were all having fun and talking together, Gena came over and grabbed Zacky's arm. 

"What is it?" Zacky said. 

"Can I talk to you? Alone?" She asked.

Jimmy remained with a serious face but let out an "Sss" sound from his mouth. I spat wine once again and snickered. They looked at us confused as nobody got the inside joke. 

"Maybe later. I am busy." Zacky replied. 

"Please." She begged him. I turned to face Jess as I rolled my eyes. 

He sighed and left with her. Zacky led her to the stairs. I could see them from here. 

"Time for another shot? We got Tequila right here." Jimmy offered. 

"Yes, please." I begged him too.
