"rory, could you please quickly take me somewhere after school?" penelope politely asked her friend as they were sat at the cafeteria table during their lunch period.
"of course, where?" aurora replied. "do you have work?"
"uh yeah but could you take me to the pharmacy first..?"
"yeah of course-"
"wait why?" layla interrupted the other girl.
"jonah-"
"oh my, did you two have sex?!"
"no.. he was texting me last night.." penelope explained. "and he wanted to hang out but i was doing homework plus i needed more time to mentally prepare to hang out with him.."
"so you want to have sex with him?" elias asked.
"no but like layla was saying the other day about how i shouldn't trust condoms that he brings and like although i don't want to yet and i do want to get closer with him before we take things further, i want to be ready just in case it he wants to do anything sooner than i expect.."
"good move," he nodded.
"don't do anything with him though if you're not ready," aurora replied. "don't let him pressure you into that, it's your choice no matter how much he wants to."
"losing your virginity isn't that big of a deal so don't go over planning it," layla chimed. "some times it's better just to get over and done with."
"if you're ready to get it over and done with," elias added.
"when are you hanging out with him?"
"um.. maybe tonight.." penelope slightly mumbled. "which is why i'm asking now about going this afternoon.."
"ooo, but yeah, i'll take you penny, we gotta pick austin up though, he can wait in the car though if you want," aurora mentioned. "anyway, so what were you texting about?"
"he was just asking about things that i've done and stuff.." she responded. "he's thinks i'm like very innocent.. like never snuck out, never drunk and stuff, so he was just asking cause he wants to get me to 'break the rules' or something."
"you are quite innocent though," layla said. "like sneaking out and drinking aside, you don't really do much else, like the normal skipping school, making out and stuff like other teens do. like i still genuinely don't understand why you haven't had your first kiss yet."
"because no one's ever been into me," penelope subtly shrugged. "i told jonah that i have though.. so could we just maybe pretend i have so he doesn't find out i lied."
"why did you like?" elias furrowed. "like you know if you told him you haven't he probably would just kiss you, help you cross that off."
"cause like it's kinda embarrassing that i haven't so i wasn't gonna tell him that," she slightly mumbled. "he probably already thinks i'm weird cause i haven't had sex."
"you're not weird," aurora shook her head. "not having sex at seventeen is normal. like i know a fair few teens have had sex but like at the same time at lot haven't and i don't think it's big deal that you haven't."
"i've never had sex," elias added. "but that's also cause there's no hot guys who are also into guys here," he groaned. "all the guys here are boring."
"i guess i've never had the opportunity to and i can't help that," penelope subtly nodded at her own comment as she accepted it.
"exactly!" aurora expressed. "so many guys are yet to realise how fucking stunning you are and that's their loss."
