"Sheesh you guys, cutting it close huh?"
"Hey at least we said something." Greg pointed out
"How'd you know he was coming?" Molly asked Drew
"Greg? Mark was texting him about where they were and whatnot." Greg waved smiling
"Oh ok. well thanks then."
Alex just smiled at Drew before asking "Chris is in there still right?"
Drew nodded his head then she smiled and walked past him.
"I'll go with you." When they were gone Molly looked like she was ready to go inside too but Drew stopped her
"What's up?"
"What'd be the issue if you ran into him?"
"Omg you thought about sabotaging me!"
"No honest I didn't, but I did wonder why it would be so bad to see him"
"Drew it's just awkward"
"Because you make it like that."
"Are you serious?"
"Yes! You did it to us."
"What?"
"We didn't talk for like a year or two because I was an idiot and fell in love with you. I was an even bigger idiot and told you which is completely my fault that we fell apart as friends. If you love this guy and I say love because you can't just fall out of love just like that, which I know you still do, then this time around I guess you need to be a little stupid and lay it out there and talk and if it doesn't work this time around then you tried, ya know?"
"Drew I..."
"I'm not really ready to talk Moll, about us. I will be later, but right now you need to do this"
"And what if I don't do it."
"Don't be stupid. He could be your one." He said doing his best to make sure his voice didn't shake because he needed to make her believe even if he didn't.
"How can you even say that. You know damn well you don't believe that. You know what I think Drew?"
"What?"
"I think you're scared."
"Oh everyone knows that already and I have every right to be." he said rolling his eyes and tossing his hands in the air
"Why is that?"
"Because I gave myself to you freely and you ran right through me so forgive me if I'm still a little cautious around you with my feelings. If you want to be with me you're gonna have to come to me this time and only when you're ready so whatever you have with Mark needs to be over, but right now it's not even though you may think it is. Hell it might never be and I'll be a fool who waited for a girl who's in love with someone else. I'm damn sure you're my person Molly but you're just not ready so for right now I'm gonna stick to what I know well and that's being your friend. Alright?"
"Andrew..."
"Molly please."
"Alright." she said frowning slightly as she made her way past him.
"Molly please don't be like this." he said as he grabbed her hand to stop her from leaving
"Don't be like what?"
"Don't push me away. I'm sorry. I still want us to be friends and I want to be here for you."
"That's great. I gotta go do what you asked." she said in a ticked off tone then brushed past him into the house and past Alex as well. Alex saw the look on her face and made to follow her to her room
Molly was digging through her closet for something to wear when Alex walked in
"Hey Moll are you okay?"
"Yeah Red."
"What're you doing?"
"Just looking for something to wear."
"For what?"
"I'm gonna go see Mark."
"What?"
"You know what? Forget it. It doesn't matter what I wear to my death."
"Why are you going to see Mark?"
"Ask him." Was the last thing Molly said before she walked past everyone and out the door.

Mark, Luke and Brilynne sat down having dinner and talking about their days. Dinner was Mark's favorite Steak & Potatoes and of course veggies to make sure Brilynne ate them.
"Did you have fun today princess?"
"Yes daddy."
"What'd you do?"
"Just had a makeup party with my friends."
"Oh I was wondering why you looked so pretty Bree." Luke flirted
"Uncle Luke! You're making me blush."
"You're making me blush Bree. Never had such a pretty girl say my name like that before."
"Hush up."
"So where's Chris and Greg?"
"I have no clue but I assume they want us to leave dinner out for—" he didn't get to finish because there was a knock at the door
"That's probably them and I guess they forget their key." Mark joked
"IT'S OPEN!" Luke shouted before taking a bite into his steak.
No one was paying attention to who entered through the door until they heard softly
"Mark, can I please talk to you?"
"MOLLY!"
Both Luke and Mark were in shock as they looked at her standing in the doorway but Brilynne jumped up and out of her chair and went running towards Molly.
It took the guys a few seconds to snap out of it and Luke was looking at Mark wondering what his next move would be. It was something out of a soap opera.
"Don't be an idiot. Go talk to her."
"I'm scared."
"I would be too but you gotta find out what she wants."
Mark nodded his head in agreement then got up and walked over to her and said "Yeah sure. You wanna talk outside or something?"
"Yeah that'd be great." she said softly "I'll be right back Bee." she said as she exited the house with Mark behind her.
