"What's uh oh.....ohhhhhhhh. Oh shit! Excuse me sweetheart, I didn't mean to cuss." he said now getting full view of the reason she was uh oh-ing. Molly sat just 100 feet from where they stood
"Is daddy here?"
"Yes."
"Well then this is perfect! We have to get them back together. That's a sign."
"No! Sweetheart right now is not a good time."
"And why not?"
"Bear how bout you go put your ice cream down on the table then excuse yourself to the bathroom and I'll take you to your dad."
"Ok." she said then rushed over to the table
"Ohh hey Bree we thought you were never coming back. We thought we lost you to the candy." Molly joked and everyone giggled
"Very funny" she said laughing herself "I'm going to go to the bathroom if that's okay."
"Do you want someone to come with you?"
"Nope. I'm fine! I'll be right back." she said already backing away from the table and walking around the corner to where Greg stood waiting for her. "Alright take me to my daddy."
Greg took a hold of her hand and led her to where her father was sitting. Just when they were far enough away that she could see him and he couldn't see her, she frowned seeing her dad with his arms around another girl.
"Who's that?"
"B, it's just someone we met today. He's trying to move on. We can't let him see Molly and vice versa."
She took a few seconds to think about what he was saying to her then she agreed. "Okay." the she walked over to the table. She was approaching when Luke saw her. He quickly disengaged from Chloe hoping that she hadn't seen but it was too late.
"Hi uncle Luke and uncle Kevin."
That's when Mark heard her and immediately and awkwardly distanced himself from Avery. He could see the confusion and embarrassment on her face but for right now it was better than what was to come next.
"Hi Bree." they said simultaneously as Uncle Luke kissed her cheek while picking her up as Uncle kevin tossed her a high five
"What're you doing here?"
"I just bumped into Uncle Greg when I was getting ice cream and he said you guys were here, so I wanted to come say hi and say hi to daddy."
"Daddy?!" Jenny blurted confused as the girls all looked at each other trying to figure it out when they noticed the look on Mark's face, shifted from bewilderment to embarrassment at being caught to confusion only to settle with happiness when the little girl jumped into his lap
"Hi daddy. How are you?"
"Hi princess. I'm doing just fine and how are you?"
"Awesome! I'm in my favorite place duhhh."
"That's great! And who are you with?"
Her face cut to her uncle Greg for help, he lightly shook his head as an indication for her to lie
"Oh just Sophie's big brother Andrew. No biggie. Who are you friends?" she asked now facing the girls who just stared at her with wonder in their eyes. When she looked at them they snapped back into it and smiled as broadly as they could fake. "I'm Brilynne."
The girls introduced themselves to Brilynne.
"Well it was nice seeing you and meeting you ladies. I'm gonna be on my way before they start looking for me." she said as she turned around and kissed her dad right on the lips then hopped off his lap and scurried away
Once she was gone and was rounding the corner to get back to the table she stopped to take a breath. One to give her strength.
She was just about to walk when again she bumped into someone then looked up it was Molly
"Oh there you are. I thought something happened. Thank God it didn't you were in there for a long time."
"I'm sorry. I just got distracted on my phone while I peed. You know."
Molly burst out laughing because she did know. Happened to her all the time.
Molly put her arm around her as they walked back to the table. "Your ice cream was melting so I took a bite of it to make sure it was okay." she joked
"You wouldn't dare."
"You know me Bree......I would." she said with a giant smile. Brilynne ran while giggling back to the table to check her ice cream cup.
"I knew you didn't." she said smiling.
A few couple of minutes later they all packed up to head out of the shoppe just when Mark and all of them were packing up. Just by chance Mark turned his head and saw Molly and he had no idea what had come over him but he shouted her name causing her to look up in his direction
"Molly?" he said under his breath confused because she wasn't supposed to be here but when he actually saw that it was really her he just shouted "MOLLY!"
The smile she had been wearing fell. The look she gave him changed from happiness to pure disgust as she peered right through him without saying a word then turned her head back out towards outside like she hadn't seen anything at all.
Molly pulled on her hat, Drew looked towards the person who called out her name with a sympathetic look as he brought his hand lightly to the small of her back to lead her out.
"Who's that?"
"Just someone." he answered trailing off as he turned around to grab his jacket and to get himself in check. He didn't want Avery to think it was more than it was, but it actually was he just prefer to keep it between his friends and himself.
"Oh well she didn't look very happy to see you." Jenny said as she hopped off the booth seat and onto the floor and left before she could here his response, luckily he didn't have one and no one else tried to question him about it including Avery.

*Mark's Point of View*
"What the hell was she doing here? Should I text her? I want to text her but she might not respond. Who am I kidding, she'll respond with a response that'll make me feel like complete shit. And I should feel like she for letting her go and now trying to talk to her. Who the hell was that guy and why the hell was he touching her like that. I should've beat his ass, but he's lucky my daughter was with him or else I would've. Oh that's great. Now I have the perfect reason to text her. I don't want that man around my daughter." he thought smiling as he walked out of the ice cream shoppe behind everyone and was pulling out his phone to text her when Avery sunk back and took a hold of his hand. There was the guilt. He actually thought he could like this girl but now that Molly was in town he didn't feel like giving her the time of day.
