Molly was surprised by the amount of space that he had to himself. All he had in his room was a bed and two trash bags full of clothes. He had a bucket full of change and it looked like that's where he kept all his money. He also had some little toys on the floor. Then she saw something move on his bed and it was a little girl 8 years old. She didn't wake up and Molly immediately turned to look at the guys.
They didn't know she was home from school and they didn't know she didn't know. Today was a half day so that was why she was home already. Molly gently closed the door and sat down almost in a trance.
She couldn't believe it. He had a kid, he lived in squalor, and he was the most guarded man she knew. What shocked her the most was that she didn't care. She still liked him regardless. The only thing that bothered her was Ashanti and that's what she needed to tell him.
Just as she was about to talk Mark walked in "Is Brilynne home yet?" he asked then he saw Molly. His face instantly flushed, his jaw hardened and his roommates could tell he was angry. From the way his eyes darted to them.
Molly stood up and walked towards him. His head bowed looking at the ground. She would leave now he thought, but she surprised him. She took his hands in hers and said softly "Hey" he looked up at her as his roommates looked on. Molly kissed him and he tried to pulled away but she took control of his neck and kept him kissing her.
His roommates high fived each other, then left the room to hang out outside for a bit. She moved her assault to his neck
"So what does this mean?" he moaned
"This means we need to move over to the couch." she said pushing him towards the couch then down
"Don't we need to talk?"
"Talk later. Kiss now." was all she could say before she got down on top of him and they proceeded to making out. He didn't know what had gotten into her but he liked it, but they really would have to talk soon and stop soon before Brilynne woke up.
She sat up and was about to remove her shirt but he stopped her
"No. We have to stop."
"Okay." she said kissing his cheek then sitting on her side of the couch facing him.
He was quiet trying to find his words so she spoke first
"Now I know why you didn't want me here."
"Cause I'm embarrassed by where I live and how I live. I have a kid. Although I am not embarrassed by her unless she does her weird girl things like asking me what pads are or walking around pretending she has boobs. I love her and I wouldn't trade her for anything. I'm embarrassed that she has to see me struggle like this but I'm doing my best for her"
"She's beautiful."
"Thank you."
"And I understand."
"And I understand if you wanna walk away."
"I don't wanna walk away. I don't have a problem with you having a kid. I don't have a problem with you living here or the way you live. My only concern is Ashanti."
"You shouldn't be concerned about her. I don't want her, only you. I just wanna make sure that you're all in because if you meet my daughter I have to be sure about you. Are you sure you want this?"
"Maybe I should think about it because I don't want you to get mad at me if...Not if; when I go back to school in the fall."
"That's not an issue right now."
