Chapter 31

Mark practically pushed the Cassie out of the way when he saw Molly. He went right for her and followed her body then saw her get taken down by some guy. That same guy from Lizzie's.

He watched as they interacted and he wanted to go over there but the smile on her face made him stop himself. He couldn't see her frown at him again, it would break his heart so he turned back to find Cassie but she was gone.

He shrugged his shoulders then went back to his friends.

Alex came back to where they stood and immediately planted a huge kiss on Chris's lips

"Baby lets go." She whispered in Chris's ear and his brows shot up

"Um gimme a sec. Let me go say goodbye to a few people." he said coughing sort of excited because maybe tonight would be the night he made it to third base with her

"Okay I'm gonna go find Molly so she can help me find my jacket and.."  she whispered the rest in his ear because she didn't want Mark to hear and Chris nodded

Alex found Molly in the same place she left her playing pong

"Finally you're back. I've been carrying the team without you. Cmon."

"Chris said we can come over."

"Awesome. We'll finish this and head out." She said then tossed the ball and sunk another cup "Ow! Ow! Drink up Thibodeaux!" She screamed laughing

"What did I tell you Ben? We were going to lose. "

"It's not over yet my friend. Cmon Red shoot."

"You got this."

Alex wasn't so sure but she tried anyway. Although she missed Molly was still encouraging.

A few minutes later Alex sunk the last shot to clinch the win and Chris was right next to her high fiving her.

"Good job babe. "

"Alright let's go grab our jackets so we can leave. "

They quickly ran upstairs and grabbed their jackets then caught up with the guys and they all started walking back towards Molly's house.

"Why are we walking again?"

"Because Molly is very conscious of drinking and driving. She doesn't like it." Drew slurred to Chris as Molly held him up as they walked

"Good for you! You know you're a great person!"

"You too red! I'm happy we're friends" she slurred happily letting go of Drew to hug Alex which lead to Drew falling into a bush.

Everyone giggled as Molly ran back to grab him.

"I'm fine" he said although leaves practically engulfed him

Once they reached her house they all grabbed some more beers and made their way upstairs to her back yard and played around.

Molly and Alex laid on her trampoline staring up at the stars talking

"I really love Chris."

"And I'm sure he knows that. I can see how he feels about you by the way he looks at you."

"But..."

"But nothing."

They remained silent for a few seconds before Alex asked
