Drew just looked on as Molly was engulfed by all the little girls. He stepped further into the room and closed the door behind him.

Two people start to approach him to which he assessed as parents of one of the girls

"Hi I'm Adrianna and this is my husband Manny. We are Sophie's parents." she said pointing to the little girl with long curly brown hair and big brown eyes.

"And you are?" Manny asked

"Oh sorry. I'm Drew. I'm Molly's friend from school."

Adrianna looked at him skeptically thinking to herself if he was actually her friend

"It's nice to meet you. I hear you guys are taking the girls out for ice cream?" Manny said tossing his head in the direction of the girls

"It seems we are."

"Who are you?" Brilynne asked with a scowl on her face

"I'm Drew. I'm Molly's friend from school."

Brilynne came to stand in front of him and looked up at him with an unreadable look. Molly caught it and walked over

"Bree why're looking at Drew like that?"

"I don't want him to be your boyfriend so I'm hoping that maybe if I stare at him long enough he'll just go away."

"Ouch." Drew said offended and confused

"Ronnie and Sophie come with us. Let's go grab some coats." Adrianna said trying to get them away from this awkward situation

"Bree listen tp me." Brilynne turned around and looked at her while she spoke "Be nice to Drew. He's not my boyfriend but if he was I would expect you to treat him kindly just the same as I would expect him to treat you. We've been friends for a while and if I decided to date him I would hope you would be supportive of that. I don't know where things are going with your dad and I, but you can't stand in the way of any other guys that come into my life. Things happen and you can try as hard as you can to avoid the collision but it's gonna happen eventually because it's meant to. I'm willing to bet a huge cup of caramel ice cream with whipped cream, sprinkles, gummy bears, pretzels and marshmallows on top."

Even Drew had to look at her with shock and awe. He wasn't sure he could live up to all the hype those toppings came with

Brilynne looked on with a challenging look and Drew wasn't sure she would give in, until Brilynne spun around to face Drew and extended her hand

"Hi my name is Brilynne and it's nice to meet you."

It took him a second to react but he took her small little hand in her big one, then he shook it and introduced himself as well and id was then that Brilynne realized how cute he was and would definitelly give her daddy a run for his money if he didn't get his act together soon.

After shaking his hand Brilynne went in search of her friends and her coat.

As soon as Brilynne left the room Drew let out a big breath of relief as he looked over to Molly.

"Jeez she's a real ball buster. Think you could've warned me?"

"Wasn't expecting her to be this way. I'm sorry. Want a hug?"

"No! So she can walk in here and kill me with her eyes for hugging you back"

Molly just laughed as she came to stand next to him.

Mark and everyone were just sitting in the ice cream shoppe just goofing off and having fun. A rowdy bunch they were. Mark and his roommates couldn't remember the last time they had this much fun just hanging out, well that was a lie, but for Mark he just supressed the memories the best he could. They all just clicked.

He was doing his best to move on.

"So do you guys wanna come to a party with us later tonight?"

"What kind of party?"

"Just a regular ole college party, duh"

Greg looked at his friends with confusion but then looked at Jenny who winked at him seductively which made him smile at the thought

"Sure, I'm down." he said cooly not trying to sound too excited like some freshman.

"I guess us too then."

"Cool."

"Do you all wanna come with us or meet us there?" Avery asked scooching closer to Mark.

"Whatever you guys wanna do."

"Okay." Avery said with content then they went back to talking

Just a few short minutes later the girls were walking into the shoppe with Molly and Drew following closely behind. The girls ran to the first open booth the could find, followed by Molly and Drew. They all took off their coats and made their way to the ice cream station.

Just the look of pure excitement had Drew swooning over Molly even more as she played with the girls. He loved kids, growing up in a big family he was always surrounded by his extended family and little cousins.

Sophie came and grabbed Drew's hand and dragged him to a station

"I can't reach this one. Can you help me please?"

"My pleasure." he said as he helped her up so she could pull the lever.

"Thank you!." she said smiling widely as he put her down.

Drew now faced with a tough decision of which ice cream he should choose never thought he'd get advice from Brilynne

"If you can't decide my uncle Greg says get both, the more the merrier. Then you gotta put lots of toppings on it. Stay sweet my friend."

"Ahhh I see." Drew said smiling as he took her advice. He added some toppings to it and made his way over to the table as Brilynne and Sophie still stood up there.

Brilynne was just turning around and she bumped into what felt like a brick wall to her and her cup of ice cream was thankfully secure in her hand.

"Well excuse me small fry. I didn't even see you the---Bree? What're you doin' here?" Greg asked crouching down and all she could say was

"Uh oh." as she slowly turned her head towards the booth where Molly sat with Drew and her other two friends
