This is the story of my life,
Orphaned since the age of 5 months.
My home? The human base of Pandora.
But everything changed the day that the greatest gift that can never be surpassed arrived at the laboratory in Harper's hands: my own AVATAR.

The next day, I was having breakfast at the same little table where I usually shared my meals with Spider. But this time, he wasn't present.
Spider had left earlier in the morning, according to what Norm had told me.
I was dressed in my classic green cargo pants and a simple blue blouse.
With my gaze focused on my food, I took a bite of the toast in my hands when I heard voices.
Someone had entered the laboratory, and they were being welcomed.
Curious about this visit, I lifted my gaze in the direction where those voices were coming from. And just like that, I found myself staring into those golden and dazzling eyes that I had been missing so much.
Immediately after, I almost choked on my food. Seeing him there so suddenly took me by surprise.
It seemed almost unreal. His head almost touching the ceiling. His tail brushing against everything around him. And the air mask hanging from his neck.
It was a very unusual image. But at the same time, it was enchanting to observe.

"Neteyam," I said in astonishment, once I could find my words.
He simply smiled at me and sat down in the chair typically occupied by Spider.

"Yes, it's me, Della," he chuckled amused by my surprise to see him here in the laboratory. "What are you eating?" he asked, pointing to my food.
"This? It's nothing," I instinctively replied, forgetting the peculiarity of his presence. "Just toast with jam," I added simply, "and tea, I have tea in my cup."
He looked at me confused, not fully comprehending what exactly my food was, which made me let out a brief laugh. "Do you want to try?" I asked, offering him a small toast with fruit jelly.
Neteyam delicately held the toast, causing me to burst into laughter once again.
Then he smelled it, trying to decipher its flavors.
