The big day had arrived. I would finally learn to use a bow. We had all gathered, eager to venture into the forest and start shooting our arrows, especially Kiri and me, as we would learn to use this significant tool in Na'vi culture.
However, to my surprise, when we arrived at the meeting point, Spider and I noticed that our friends had also brought Tuk with them.
The once small girl was starting to gain permission from her parents to venture into the depths of the forest, as long as she was under the supervision of her older siblings.
Thus, Tuk joined us to learn how to use the bow.

On the way, while we were searching for the ideal trunk to paint a target on and practice with, I found myself captivated by the sweetness and care Neteyam showed towards his younger sister. He set the pace, pointed out any imperfections on the ground, and made sure the environment was safe for her. He even carried her in his arms towards the end of the trail when Lo'ak and Spider complained that Tuk couldn't keep up with our pace.
It was an unparalleled sight. Seeing Neteyam display his protective and adorable side was heartwarming.

Once we settled on a tree, Kiri and I took the white and blue paint she had prepared and brought along, to start painting a circular target on the trunk, while Tuk watched us attentively

After putting the finishing touches on the circular target we had painted on the log, we split into three groups. Spider offered to teach Kiri, Lo'ak took charge of teaching Tuk, and my heart skipped a beat when Neteyam volunteered to teach me. I felt partly excited about the idea of having him close to me. But at the same time, I was also nervous and afraid of getting lost in his gaze and being exposed.
