The forests of Pandora are dressed in golden and reddish hues, amidst abundant mist. The days are shorter, and the nights longer. The cool breezes, the decrease in temperature, and the abundant rains create a marvelous atmosphere signaling that my 17th birthday is getting closer and closer.

Spider, who is a few days older than me, received all sorts of interesting things as gifts from the team on his special day a few weeks ago. This filled me with great anticipation and excitement for my own birthday.
Nothing particularly noteworthy had happened in the past few weeks, except for the fact that I had finally accepted my feelings for Neteyam. Thanks to this, I could better control my impulses and actions when I was around him. As a result, I had completely surrendered myself in his presence without worrying about revealing my emotions. Basically, everything seemed to be returning to normal.
Still, if I were given a flower for every time I think about his smile, his gaze, his voice, his hands, or anything related to him, I would have a garden I could walk through forever.
I woke up feeling a bit drowsy, but I quickly perked up after taking a refreshing shower. I went to have breakfast with Spider as usual, when Harper suddenly appeared in front of us, looking excited and agitated.
"Della, come here, come!" she called, frantically waving her hand for me to approach. "You have to see this," she insisted urgently.
I left my meal unfinished, looking at Spider in confusion as he immediately stood up. Curious to know what was going on, I also got up and followed Harper through the corridors of the lab.
As we hurriedly advanced behind her, Harper explained to me in a rush, "I didn't know it would be here this morning, but it has arrived." It was difficult to follow her words because of how quickly she was speaking. "I didn't want to tell you anything, and I know it's not your birthday yet, but what does it matter?" She stopped in front of a door, looking at me with enthusiasm before opening it and entering the bio-lab.
With each step I took, I felt a mix of excitement and nervousness that kept me alert and expectant. What could be happening?
"Where are we going?" I asked, not knowing exactly where we were. I didn't know every corner of the lab.
