Harper had been insisting more than usual in the last few days that I shouldn't spend so much time in my Avatar, concerned about my neglect of my health. I wasn't paying much attention to my diet, not dedicating much time to physical exercise, and neglecting some aspects of self-care. So today, she decided not to allow me to go out with my Avatar.Last night, we had a long discussion, debating intensely. Scaling the majestic Hallelujah Mountains in my human form was an extremely demanding and challenging task. But Harper firmly believed it would be the best for my poor physical condition.
So, with great anxiety, we found ourselves running with Spider towards the majestic Mountains. Our goal was to join the Sullys and witness the long-awaited moment when Lo'ak would complete his Iknimaya.
"This place is amazing," exclaimed Spider upon arrival, jumping onto a rock at the edge of the cliff, raising his arms in the air, letting the breeze caress him, and feeling as if he were the king of the world.
"Pretty cool, huh, bro?" said Lo'ak as he emerged from behind, climbing up the precipice, riding on a huge pa'li, surprising us with his arrival.
Spider approached to greet him, "Oh, it's a real treat watching you all tangle with those Ikran in a fierce brawl," he said ironically as he got closer.
"How are you?" I asked as I also approached him.
Lo'ak laughed nervously, showing his concern, as Neteyam also approached riding a pa'li, pulling the reins to stop right in front of me, next to his brother. "He's fine, come on, let's go," he said in an attempt to calm his brother and avoid further delay in our ascent to the caves.
Jake passed by us on his pa'li without stopping, "Don't lag behind, guys, let's go!" he exclaimed loudly as he continued on to lead the way to the summit. I noticed he was carrying a weapon. I remembered that when Neteyam completed this rite, Jake wasn't even present due to the confidence he had in his son. But this time, he brought a weapon? I feared that maybe Lo'ak wasn't fully prepared and could get hurt.
Due to my fatigue, Neteyam generously offered to take me on the pa'li with him, and I didn't hesitate to accept his offer.
In this way, Spider and I joined the brave group that would venture into the Iknimaya this day. There were only a few of us, Lo'ak and three other young ones willing to face the challenge.
Once we reached the top of the grotto, we dismounted from the pa'li to get even closer to the Ikran on foot.
