Rey's POV
Rey had always been a morning person.
But usually, he didn't wake up this early simply to irritate stubborn employees.
Then again, Shreya Joshi wasn't exactly a usual employee.
"All I had to do was call her in the morning," he muttered to himself with an amused smirk.
Leaning back in his chair, he glanced toward the red folder lying on his desk.
The file contained every detail about his most interesting employee.
Shreya Joshi.
Truthfully, he had never paid much attention to her before.
But after the conversation with his mother last night, things had changed.
His mother had finally decided she was done tolerating his reckless lifestyle.
Her ultimatum had been very clear.
Get married before my fifty-fifth birthday. Find a girl of your own choice — someone capable of taming you.
Otherwise, I'll hand over this company to your darling cousin Arpit.
She had looked dead serious while saying it.
Rey smirked slightly at the memory.
For years, people around him had either feared him too much or respected him enough to never challenge him directly.
But Shreya...
She was different.
She was probably the only person who had the courage to look him straight in the eye and argue without hesitation.
And that intrigued him.
He found himself thinking about her more than he expected.
The Indian beauty stood around five-foot-six, carrying herself with effortless confidence.
Long hair flowing almost to her waist, striking grey eyes, elegant features, and a habit of wearing minimal makeup that somehow made her stand out more than women who spent hours perfecting their appearance.
Her dressing sense was impeccable.
Sophisticated.
Sharp.
Powerful.
She belonged to an extremely wealthy family.
Her father was a well-known entrepreneur, and her uncle happened to be a highly influential politician.
Yet despite having every luxury available to her, she had never once bragged about her status.
Though sometimes, watching her expensive designer clothes and luxury cars, one question always crossed his mind.
If she can spend her life comfortably sitting at home... then why does she work this hard?
That mystery fascinated him.
A slow smile appeared on his face.
This girl is someone I want to know better.
And I always get what I want.
Thinking about the day ahead suddenly made everything feel far more interesting.

Shreya's POV
Driving this beautiful machine instantly improved Shreya's mood.
At least a little.
It was a welcome distraction after having her morning ruined by the existence of Reyhansh Singhania.
