Shreya honked near the massive iron gates of the mansion, and within seconds a security guard came running toward her car.

Lowering the window slightly, she watched him cautiously.

"Ma'am, may I know who you are here to meet?" he asked politely.

"I'm here to see Mr. Reyhansh Singhania," she replied.
The guard immediately walked toward the security cabin nearby and dialed a number.

After speaking for a few seconds, he returned and the large magnetic gates slowly opened for her.
She drove forward, entering the enormous driveway of the mansion.

The sheer size of the property was enough to make anyone pause.
Stepping out of her car, she instinctively looked around.

Parked neatly in a long row stood what looked like an entire luxury showroom.

Porsche.
Bentley.
Range Rover.
Lamborghini.
BMW sedan.
Audi Q8.
And several others she didn't bother identifying.

She shook her head.
"What a show-off..."

Then she paused.

To be fair, her father and uncle had the exact same habit of buying ridiculously expensive cars only to leave them sitting around for display.

Rey's POV

I glanced at my Patek Philippe watch.

7:45 a.m.

Perfect timing.

The phone beside me rang, and I instantly knew she had arrived.

Picking it up, I heard the guard asking for permission to let her in.

"Yes. Let her enter."

Disconnecting the call, I turned toward one of the house staff.
"Inform Mom she's here."

Mother had noticed me calling Shreya so early in the morning.

And naturally...

Being my mother, she had immediately understood my intentions.
Which apparently meant she had now taken it upon herself to interfere.

According to her, no woman could possibly be a better wife candidate for me than Shreya Joshi.
I laughed lightly at the absurd thought.

But then...

The more I thought about it...

The less absurd it actually seemed.

She was nothing like the women I usually encountered.

Unlike girls who constantly chased wealth and status, Shreya already came from a powerful family.
Her father was an established businessman.
Her uncle held considerable political influence.

She clearly had access to every luxury she could possibly want.
The expensive designer clothes.
Luxury cars.
Branded handbags.
Shopping habits that screamed spoiled rich princess.

But strangely...

She had never behaved entitled.

And despite having enough privilege to comfortably spend life doing absolutely nothing...
She worked harder than most people in my company.

That intrigued me.

And then there was her confidence.

The way she looked directly into my eyes without fear.

The way she challenged me without hesitation.

That sharp tongue.

That stubborn attitude.
