Rey's POV

Well...

My wife is dangerous.

Not in the "can ruin your business empire" way.

In the "can ruin your entire self-control, sleep schedule, personality, and dignity in one look" way.

Shreya Singh—now Shreya Singhania—walks around like she's chaos wrapped in silk and attitude.

And somehow... I married her.

I leaned back in my chair, watching her across the room as she scrolled on her phone, completely unaware she had just disrupted every functional thought in my brain.

Smart.

Elegant.

Infuriating.

And the only person who can look at me like I'm the problem.

Which is hilarious.

Because I am not used to being the problem.

I built empires.

Negotiated deals that broke men twice my age.

And yet—

This woman once looked at me and said:

"You're not intimidating, you're just loud with confidence issues."

I still haven't recovered.

I stood up slowly and walked toward her.

She didn't even look up.

"Rey," she said casually, "if you're coming here to annoy me, I'm not emotionally available."

I smirked. "When were you ever emotionally available?"

She finally looked up.

That expression.

Half innocent.

Half weapon.

"I was emotionally available before I married you."

"Lies," I said.

She smiled sweetly. "Prove it."

That smile should be illegal.

I sat beside her.

Close enough that she immediately became aware of it.

She always does.

"You're distracting me," she said.

"I'm sitting."

"That's your problem."

I leaned slightly closer. "You think I distract you just by existing?"

She nodded without hesitation. "Yes."

No filter.

No fear.

Just Shreya.

Silence stretched.

Comfortable.

Dangerous.

Then she said softly, "You've been staring at me for ten minutes."

"I admire my investments."

She rolled her eyes. "I am not an asset."

I tilted my head. "Debatable."

She narrowed her eyes. "Rey."

That tone.

Warning.

Challenge.
