It was the twentieth

Asteria's birthday

It was so quiet yet so loud in the dinning hall, all Asteria's acquaintances and friends sat together at Ravenclaw table

Cedric kept his head down not saying much. Tyler tried apologizing too much for little things but everyone could tell he feels guilty he never apologized to Asteria.

Luna kept a smile on her face trying to help everyone possible. Pansy worried no one was helping Luna and she was doing too much but Pansy just kept a reassuring hand near Luna.

George kept making jokes and looking at Fred to finish them but no ending came.

George was trying his best but Fred seems lost.

Harry looks sad he had just started to see Asteria as a sister because if her father was Sirius her and her siblings might be the closest family Harry had but he's used to losing family, at least that is what he kept saying to himself while feeling sorrows towards Asteria

Hermione didn't know how to feel. They had been enemies longer than friends but when they became friends it fueled her with joy. So in this time Hermione spent studying.

Asteria was immortal how did she die and could they bring her back. Hermione had forced Neville, Harry and Ron to help with this but no luck.

Everyone could tell the boys were only helping her look for answers because they could see how hurt she felt.

Draco sat with his hands in his lap not quite sure what to do but kept looking at his girlfriend for reassurance which she gave with a smile something not normal for Pansy.

Especially since Asteria has died

But then Layla sat down

She looks full of joy "how is everyone, so it's my birthday. It's my first year at hogwarts and away from Daniel during my bday so wanted to have a party or something. Hey Tyler what do you normally do during today?"

Pansy instantly looked sick in the face towards Layla

"Celebrate with my sister"

"So do you want to celebrate with me I know it might be difficult but i don't really have any friends here yet. Since whole reason I came here was to be with my sister and I guess brother as well"

Tyler stands up and walks away nit saying another word Layla brushes off the rejection and looks at everyone else

George smiles "she would have loved you"

No one else much said anything most thinking on what George said

"Layla i bet that will be great, a party to help everyone with today and to celebrate our new friend"

"I don't want to spend time with Layla" Fred said abruptly

Silence

"Fred?" Layla said confused. He breaths out "Layla looks just like her all I do is point out differences and it's tiring"

"Same I don't want to be around her when she ignored her" Pansy nods to Fred

"Pansy" Luna let's out

"Besides I am going to Draco's room tonight so can't make it too busy with all those Slytherin"

"I'll go" Luna said to Layla

"Lu!" Luna shrugs "Asteria would want us to, she never got to so we should to honor her"

Everyone other than Pansy and Fred nod

"Pansy it might be a good idea especially with how Slytherin has been" Pansy rolls her eyes at Draco's comment
