Sirius let me in and Remus was pulling on an old band shirt as he walked down to see who needed to see them so late at night

"Oh Asteria what are you doing here?"

Sirius smiles "told you he's grumpy without sleep"

"You seem more grumpy without sleep dad" dad smiles and holds me "little Laria wanted to see her old man Remus"

I nod at Dads words as Remus nods and guides me towards the kitchen I sit on the counter and Remus starts the kettle going

"Tea?"

I nod and they get three cups ready I smile at how they work together in the kitchen and how happy they seem and they work like reflex together

My mother could of never had this with Sirius I think deep down Sirius has always loved Remus

I'm happy my dads happy thats what matters to me

But when the tea is done Sirius hands me my cup and both look at me

"What's up?"

"Remus would you ever work for the minister?"

"The ministry has never showed a liking for me"

"What if that changed"

Remus paces a little trying to think on how to explain this to me nicely and looking at Sirius

"I respect Kingsley and think he will do everything in his power to help wizards... im not just a wizard. People have seen me as dangerous for a long time that wont chage and even if it could in the last two years Kingsley has never offered me a job nor any other ministry official why now"

"It's not Kingsley offering"

He pauses and looks at Sirius trying to figure out if Sirius understands. He does not

"Laria were both lost what are you saying?" I smile "Remus my Dad loves you and I see you as a second father my children call you grandpa moony you were the best professor I had growing up and even now your an amazing father to me so since you already help advice me would you be the Adviser to the Minister's office"

"What?"

"Should I repeat?"

Sirius holds out his hand "why are you offering this?" I put my hand on his and hold it "im the new minister of Magic"

They both gasp and Remus leans against a wall not sure what to say

"What about Kingsley?"

"Died, don't know the cause yet but he sent word wanting me to be his successor and apparently a lot of people have been taking that seriously. I knew he was getting me ready for higher positions of power in the future down the line but I didn't expect him to want me to take on after him. I assumed the highest I would get would be head of a department"

"Your the minister?" I nod

"And you want to hire Remus?" I nod

"What about the law?" I smile "glad you asked"

I take a sip of my tea and place it down

"I'm having Hermione take over Delores old position she's smart I want to fix the prejudice and I thought of how lycanthrope have been maligned for so long that many, according to you Lupin, 'have shunned normal society and live on the margins, stealing and sometimes killing to eat' I know not all will change but lets give them the options to"

"It'll be a long road to clime"

"I'll bring hiking boots, this problem runs deep I know that I'm not blind but with your help I think I can fix it"

"She's definitely my daughter"

Both me and Remus look at Sirius rolling our eyes "way to ruin a moment dad that was my epic minister speach"

Remus laughs "could use some work"

"Noted"

I stand up "thanks for the tea I have a husband to go let know I'm not insane. I ran out the house with hardly any explanation"

Both smile and I look at the questioning

"What?"

"You said Husband"

I did

"I guess it just feels that way since in two days it's happening"

"Laria it's happening tomorrow"

I check the time its past midnight I wave goodbye and rush out

As I get back home Fred grabs me and spins me as I close the door shut I go to yelp but stop myself

"Because the butterflies inside my stomach while I look at you" I smile "you still get butterflies" he nods "yup"

"If you fall I'll catch you" I nod "or Sirius will" he nods "or Sirius will correct"

I put my hands through his hair "Fred what if something just goes wrong I'm so worried I've dreamed of this so long it just feels like someone or something will be out to get us"

"If anything goes wrong we will face it together, your death. Im a Weasley. And our kids are both as well as Blacks and you got Layla there and Merlin help anyone who messes with tomorrow have you seen Pansy's planners" I smile

"Good point and it's the first time I've had all my siblings on my side" he nods enthusiastically "very good point you have Tyler who was the biggest worry in the past"

"I think Voldemort and a bunch if others might of been bigger worries but good point"

"Tyler was a cry baby but i guess your right Roger was the biggest worry in the past" we both laugh

"Im going to go check on the girls tuck them im one final time make sure they have water and the windows closed"

"Okay"

I walk upstairs and open the girls room Emily has all her four pillows and 7 blankets on her and stuffed animals while Rosalina has half a blanket on her and two pillows and is laying with one leg in the air and one hanging off the bed

I then walk over to Ellie and she has her eyes open but both look white

"Ellie whats wrong"

"Cadmus is coming"

"Ellie?" He eyes close and she blinks and they are back to normal "cad cad"
