Everyone stood outside the palace, watching as Brevon's ships hovered above Shang-Tu. Everything burst into chaos. Civilians ran and hid as Brevon's troops dropped from the ships, landing on the ground and charging the city.

Dail could feel the rage, the anger, the hatred building inside of him, "I've had enough," He growled. He pulled his sword from it's sheethe and ran down the stairs of the palace, towards the oncoming Brevon forces.

"Wait! King Dail!" Aya tried to run after him, but collapsed onto her hands and knees when she got to the bottom stair.

Neera quickly went to Aya's side, and helped her off the ground, "Magister, what do we do?" Neera called back to the Magister, who stood frozen, shocked, unmoving.

"We help!" Aya pulled out of Neera's hands and charged off after Dail.

"Wait, Aya!" Neera shouted. She glanced back at the Magister, before sighing, "General Gong, you stay here, protect the palace. I'm going to help settle a score," Neera grabbed her frost spear off her back and spun it, before sprinting off after Dail and Aya.

Neera dashed forward, freezing the ground below her to catch up with Aya, "Alright, so, how do you plan on helping Dail, you don't even have a weapon."

"I'll find one!" Aya responded continuing to run forward.

"Here," Neera grabbed something off the side of her leg and handed it to Aya.

Aya took the object and pressed a small button on it, transforming the object into a small handheld blaster, "I didn't know you carried this as well as your-."

"It's mandatory, I'm forced to carry it around. Thankfully, I finally found a use for it," Neera said, winking at Aya.

Aya's face turned a slight pink as she was winked at, "Y-yeah, now come on! Let's save this city!" Aya ran straight for a large pack of Brevon robots, raising the hand-blaster and firing at them. It didn't have the same kick that her laser cannon had, so she was decently accurate with it. One of the Brevon drones swung it's fist at her, but she dropped, sliding between the drones' feet and flipping up and onto it's back. She placed the barrel of the handblaster to the glass dome that protected the squishy eye-bug and pulled the trigger, shattering the glass and cooking the eye-bug inside.

As the Brevon drone dropped to the ground, Neera dashed past, slicing off the leg of a Brevon drone that had snuck up on Aya. The Brevon drone collapsed onto one leg, and fell forward, shattering it's own protective dome. Aya grabbed the Drone Rifle that it had been carrying and aimed it at the oncoming drones, pulling the trigger and feeling as the rifle kicked in her hands. It fired off a burst of plasma bolts, and took down one of the drones.

Neera stood next to Aya and raised her frost spear, firing off a few bolts of ice at the enemies as well. The two did well, taking down at least a few squads of Brevon drones. Sadly, their luck wouldn't hold out, as a Brevon Drone snuck up behind Aya, and grabbed her, taking her hostage in it's metal arms. Aya let out a shriek as she was grabbed and disarmed.

Neera turned towards the shriek and saw as Aya had been grabbed, "No!" Neera raised her frost spear, but she too was overrun by brevon drones, being captured as well. One of the drones raised it's arm, and a small holographic projection of General Serpentine appeared. It seemed he hadn't been expecting to be contacted.

"Yes? What is it- OH!" He had caught sight of Aya and Neera being held hostage, "TCHYAAAHAHAHAAA! HOW IRONIC THAT THE BRATS WHO ESCAPED ME, WERE TO BE CAPTURED BY LORD BREVON'S DRONES! TCHYAAAHAHAHHAAA!" He cackled, a wide grin on his face.

"Maybe that means the drones are more competent than you!" Neera shot back. She knew it would anger the snake, but she didn't care. Her mouthing off was responded to with a swift smack to the face from a Brevon drone, "Augh!" She grunted as she felt metal meet face.

"WHAT? SHUT UP!" Serpentine shrieked, his anger boiling, "Have them taken to Lord Brevon!" He ordered the drones, "HE will make short work of them," Serpentine cackled again, "TCHYAAHAHAHAA! Wait...what's that..no...it can't be-! LOOK OUT-!" Serpentine squealed. His holographic projection was cut out as the Brevon drone exploded from behind. The explosion threw the other Brevon drones backwards, freeing Aya and Neera. Shouts could be heard, but not Aya or Neera's shouts. Gunfire echoed off as the remaining brevon drones tried to fight back at whatever was destroying them, but it wasn't going well for them.

"Neera!" Aya reached out for Neera's hand as gunfire echoed through the street. Neera grabbed Aya's hand in an attempt to comfort her. Aya shut her eyes tight, trying to feel any sort of comfort.

And then, just as the gunfire had started, the gunfire stopped. Aya opened her eyes, and looked up. Above the two pandas lying on the ground, stood their saviors. Sash Lilac, the last of the dragons, Carol Tea, the cat warrior, Milla Bassett, scientific genius, and Torque, leader of the Chasers, "Lilac, I'm gonna take the rest of Bravo squad and clear out this area!" Torque said.

"Got it," Lilac responded, "We'll be here."

"Bravo squad, move out!" Torque called to a few chaser soldiers that stood behind the group, who quickly rushed in between the others and charged off, with Torque leading them. As soon as the chasers had left ear-shot, Lilac looked down at Aya and Neera, who still lay on the ground.
"Lady Neera?" Lilac asked, chuckling a bit, "Are you okay? We arrived at the palace but you weren't there. The Magister told us you'd gone out to help fight back Brevon's forces but...we didn't expect you to be captured."

Neera instantly shot up and dusted herself off, "I'm fine, and thank you for the rescue. Apparently Brevon's drones are a little tougher than I thought," She reached up and lightly rubbed the red spot on her face where she had been smacked.

"Yeah sure, nice to see you again but uh, who's your girlfriend?" Carol, the wildcat, asked. She pointed towards Aya, who had gotten up and stood behind Neera.

"Girlfriend?" Aya blushed and looked around, not realizing that Carol was talking about her, "WAIT, you mean me? OH uh, I-I'm not her g-girlfriend!" Aya raised her hands and giggled nervously, "J-just friends, I think!"

"Her name is Aya, she's King Dail's new royal guard, and my friend. She protected me from Brevon when he first invaded," Neera said, introducing Aya to the others.

"Nice to meet you Aya!" Milla giggled and ran forward to meet her new friend, "I like your hair, it's very pretty!" Milla took a few circles around Aya.

"Huh? Oh uh, thanks," Aya blushed a bit.

"But your outfit could be a little more modest, it's kind of revealing," Milla said, poking at Aya's exposed thigh.

"H-HEY! W-watch it!" Aya blushed as she felt her thigh being poked.

Neera giggled a bit, but covered her mouth with her hand, "She seems to like you."

"Sorry," Milla giggled and returned to Carol and Lilac's side. Carol rolled her eyes.

"Welcome to the team, Aya," Lilac stepped forward and shook Aya's hand, "But, if you're King Dail's royal guard, then where is the king?" Lilac asked.

"He ran off ahead of us, I'm not sure where he is, but he's around here somewhere," Aya said, recomposing herself.

"Well then that's our main focus. We gotta find King Dail. We can't risk him getting captured...or brainwashed again," Neera said, picking up her frost spear off the ground.

"Got it. Alright team, let's move out!" Lilac shouted, pointing forward and charing off, with Milla and Carol chasing behind.

"Woo!" Carol shouted.

"Yay!" Milla giggled.

Aya and Neera stood ther for a moment, "So uh...guess we should follow them, then?" Aya asked, looking at Neera.

"Yeah, guess we should, 'girlfriend'," Neera teased. She leaned forward and left a tiny kiss on Aya's cheek, which made her MELT. Aya's face went bright red. She covered her face with her hands, and let out a shrill squeal. Neera chuckled and grabbed onto Aya's hand, leading her in the direction of the others.
