Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous How It Should Have Ended

Episode 12: Suspicions

We ran through the night pumped with energy. I kept climbing the tree and smelling the air for the fire but I lost it eventually. "Any sign of it?" Sammy asked. "No, I can't smell it either." I said and dropped down. "What if they left and we missed it?" Sammy asked. "People couldn't leave that fast unless they had a plane or helicopter." I said to her making her look more hopeful. We decided to keep walking but Kenji tripped on a tree root. "Kenji run!" I shouted as a certeo bit at him. "Thanks." Kenji said. The carnivore was on our tails. It approached. "Come on then!" Brooklyn shouted out as it was about to attack and she had a bat raised. I tried so hard to transform. "Wait. Soon enough you will." The spino said. "No, we should eat what comes toward us!" The allo said and the two began a brawl. "Not know." I told them. They stopped and went away. I brought out my claws. The dinosaur roared at us but a flare shot out. I put my claws away in an instant. "What?" Yaz said. "Were saved." Darius said. An old man charged out with a machete in hand and yelled.  Two more people came out and another flare shot out. "Are you children okay?" The girl asked. I didn't like her voice already. "Who are you?" Sammy asked. "I think after that you should call us your saviors." The girl told her. "Come back to camp with us and we'll give you a nice breakfast." The younger man said. Everyone's mouth dropped. Mine excluded. 

We walked back as they explained who they were. "I'm Mitch and my better half here is Tiff. We are eco-tourist and that man there is Hap, came highly recommended." Mitch explained. A photographer crew with a gruff man who never talks holding a machete makes total sense. I sarcastically said to myself. "Let me eat them!" The allo yelled. "Would you shut up!" I yelled back. "We don't have much but we hope you won't mind roughing it with us." Tiff said as we came to the paradise of a camp. We all explored the area and Kenji acted unimpressed because he was rich but I saw that he secretly loved it. 

We sat down and ate the feast of a breakfast, everyone turned into a mindless beast. I still kept my manners. "This is ridiculous." The allo said. "What is up with you talking to me but you don't like me?" I asked him. "I don't hate you, I just wish we could eat them." The allo replied. I mentally face palmed. "So we survived another dinosaur attack and another and another." Darius explained everything up to this point to them. "Oh my, you kids have been through a lot, losing your friend." Tiff said wiping her eyes and we all looked down. "Your worries are going to be over because in two days a boat will come and take us and you all back home." Mitch said and we all lightened up. Darius and Mitch started discussing dinosaur related topics while Brooklyn asked Hap questions. "No more question! Your food will get cold." He said and walked off and left us stunned. He apparently had her keycard in hand but released it. I don't think Hap was as bad as the other two but I still kept my guard up.

Soon Brooklyn called us to the bathroom yurt as they called it. "I don't think Hap and them are trustworthy." She stated. "I don't have the best feelings about them either." I said. "I'm sure it's nothing guys." Darius said and we ended that conversation before I brought up something else. "Why are we in this cramped little thing when we can go into the jungle?" I asked. "It seemed convenient." Brooklyn said and we left. She then walked over to me. "I'm going to see what Hap is hiding in his yurt." She said. "Alright, I'll distract him I guess." I said. Kenji went with Brooklyn. I walked to Hap. "Hey Hap, about my friend bothering you earlier, she doesn't mean to be pushy, we just haven't talked to anyone else in months." I said to him. "That wasn't the problem." He said and then an alarm went off. Hap became furious. "Clever, but loud." I said to myself. "Step away from the yurt!" Hap yelled at them. They backed away in fear. "Hap, what happened?" Mitch asked. "Isn't it obvious, the chatty one and the hair were trying to break into my yurt." Hap explained and turned the alarm off. I laughed when he said the hair but very quietly. "I'm sure it was an accident." Tiff said. Hap shrugged them off and walked away. "Hap is very protective over his yurt, he hasn't even allowed us in yet." Mitch told us but that didn't make any sense. I then caught the smell of something dead. I shook it off. "We won't go into the yurt again, right Brooklyn?" Darius asked. "Right." She said and we walked into the jungle this time. 

While we were talking Brooklyn brought up her reasoning. "Why would Hap not show them what's in his yurt, that doesn't make any sense." Brooklyn said. "He likes his privacy. You are just mad because they don't know about your channel." Darius said. "Hold on here now." I said trying to defuse what was coming. "You are only liking them because Mitch and you are being all father and son together." Brooklyn then realized what she said. "Darius, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to." Darius stormed off in a fit of rage as that comment struck deep into him. "Not cool, superstar." Yaz said and left. Sammy followed. "Darius knows you didn't mean that." Kenji said. "It wasn't your fault, you both just got caught up in the moment." I told her. "Why did I have to say that though?" Brooklyn hugged me for support. "It's okay," I hugged her back. "He'll forgive you when he realizes your right." I smiled at her and she smiled back. Kenji smiled at us too. Night began to descend. We slept in two separate yurts. Team supporters of Darius and supporters of Brooklyn. 

The next morning though, I woke up tired. Dirt was all over me and even a long scratch. "What the heck happened to me." I said and groggily walked out to see Darius. He looked at me. "We are going to photograph some dinosaurs and visit the watering hold, keep an eye on the others." Darius said and they began to depart. I woke the others up. "Darius and them went to the watering hole, this could be our chance." I told them. Kenji walked out stretching. Brooklyn then got up and we approached the yurt. We came close to going in but Hap came out. "They told me to come with them and let them sleep, they won't do anything this early but I said nah, let me keep an eye on them." Hap explained. He then had us sit in chairs and watch us. We all acted asleep until he left to take a call. "Now!" I said and we bolted into the jungle. Hap saw us and followed with blazing speed. He had us pinned up against a rock. "Should have let me eat him." The allo said. "I'm starting to think it wasn't the worst idea." I told him. Hap had a taser. He lit it and walked closer. "You kids-" He didn't finish as he was conked out by an ark player Ben with his metal grinding ankylosaurs, aka Bumpy. "Ben?" Kenji asked. "What's wrong, never seen a ghost before?" Ben said. Bumpy roared. I fell on the ground dying from laughing at the most cringy statement.
