Episode 34: Again with the control

We came up from the elevator and escaped from the building and back to check on Mae who was still by herself and asleep. "What do we do next?" Ben asked. "We wait." Omega said. "We should rest." Gamma said and yawned and we began to sleep. When we woke up, Brooklyn, Ben, Kenji, and I went to scout out the building. What we saw was kind of weird. Kash was playing golf and nearly hit the raptors. "Enough of this guy!" The second one snarled. "Too bad we can't leave." The first one said. Darius was being informed on what to do. "I got you a babysitter now since you seem to move all over the place." Kash told him that black BRAD came out. "Meet BRAD X. He's virtually indestructible." Kash told Darius and then sacked the black robot with his gold club over and over, bending the club. Darius was frightened. "Now, he's gonna keep an eye on you and if you leave the designated radius of BRAD X then there will be consequences." Kash said. Darius was quaking. "You need me for anything?" Darius asked him. "Yeah, I need you to put a control chip into the spinosaurus. A test of loyalty." Kash told him. The others gasped and even my mouth was slightly agape. Soon BRAD X and Darius went to the desert. "We have to hack that BRAD." Brooklyn said. "Yeah, you can definitely do that." Kenji said. I noticed he never gave genuine compliments like this to her before so he genuinely liked her now. What an interesting development. "Yeah, we need to get inside the feeder hatch again and to the BRADs." She said. "Omega will help you get in with Gamma keeping an eye out, I have to warn the spino and protect Darius." I said. I informed my family mentally. "Good luck, Alpha." Ben said. "You too." I said to them and switched to my dragon form and flew into the tunnel system before returning to myself. They were already in the desert. I followed after. I turned back to my dragon form and grabbed the BRAD X and threw him into the air. "Hello again." I said to him. He opened his mouth for an electric blast. "Now goodbye." I said and dropped him and sent a pillar of flame onto him. He smashed into the earth. I landed back down at him and tried to tear him apart being that he was barely even damaged. He shot me with an electric blast and I roared out. Darius was running away. The BRAD X was chasing him down. I used my tail to hit a rock into his face but he was not deterred. Darius and BRAD X had a brief argument behind a rock that Apex was sleeping in front of. I dove closer to warn Apex but he woke up. His eyes darted to BRAD X and Darius. "Invaders." He snarled. He saw Darius with the gun and roared. Darius ran away in fear as BRAD X followed shooting the electric bolts at him. Apex saw me soaring above. He began to move after them until I landed and held my wings out. "Wait." I told him. "Why should I?" He asked. "The human is forced to do this, he doesn't want to otherwise the robot will hurt him maybe even kill him. We both hate the robot, we can work together to kill him." I said. "You make a good point." Apex said. "Really, you gonna accept this?" I asked him. "You follow my lead so we can kill the machine, then the alliance is off." Apex said. "Understandable. That robot is really strong so we need to be careful." I told him. "Come on!" He said, shrugging me off. "This guy!" Al said. "Why do we even need to ask for his help?" Cyclone asked. "It's to keep Darius safe and keep us from fighting." I explained. "Alpha, may I take the lead this time, two spinosaurus would be more efficient." Scorn asked me. "Yes." I said and we ran after Apex. Darius was led into a ravine trying to dodge Apex as the BRAD X was chasing him. The BRAD X leaped up to grab Darius but hit Apex instead. Apex snarled and bit the machine down and stepped on him. The black beast fired some electric bolts that proved to be useless against Apex. I ran into view and Apex threw the robot to me. I chomped on him and thrashed him around and slammed him into the rock wall. Apex came over and began to tear the head away. BRAD X struggled to escape and shot the electric bolt at us and Darius. Darius fell down and Apex turned his gaze to him. "Apex, focus." I told him. BRAD X unleashed a blast of electricity. Apex roared and let go of his head. "Come here MechaGodzilla." I said and stepped on him over and over and over. I stabbed my claw into his chest and began to tear it. Apex went to Darius. "No!" I said and slammed my tail into him. He turned and snarled. "I will never accept these humans, I will never accept you." Apex snarled. He reminded me of what he was. He approached Darius who used a BRAD head to fire tranq gas out at him. Apex charged through and snapped at Darius before the cloud of gas knocked him out. He fell down right at Darius's feet. The cloud moved away. I dragged "MechaGodzilla" to Darius. Darius looked at Apex and then the gun. "Don't Darius." Brooklyn told him. Darius sighed relived. I turned back. "Nice job on hacking." I told her. "It was nothing." Brooklyn said. "You missed Kenji confessing his feelings." Omega mentally told me. "It was also hard for her to hack into the BRAD X." Gamma told me mentally as well. "I see, well now we can come back to each other." I said to them. I turned to Darius. He smiled and shot the chip into the ground. Darius went back to report a successful mission. I went down into the BRAD factory and walked to the others. "How did it go with the spinosaurus?" Sammy asked. "We ended up fighting again. All the way up until he fell asleep." I told her. "Now we can leave." Yaz said. We did just that until I heard something horrible come out of Kash's mouth. "Looks like we need to try this on the babies." I froze at this.
