"GOOD MORNING, YUWEN!" Masiglang bati ko kay Yuwen pagkalabas niya ng kwarto, kagigising.
Inabangan ko talaga siya dito sa living area para mabati siya.
"What's with that energy, Miss Ganda?"
"Wala lang." I giggled. "Won't you great me a good morning?"
Naglakad siya palapit sa akin and bent down para pantayan ako.
"Good morning..." He gave me a forehead kiss.
"Lutuan mo'ko." Utos ko sa kaniya.
"What do you want to eat ba?" Tanong niya.
"Its up to you. Basta cook me a breakfast." Utos ko.
"Alright then." He left me alone in the living room para magtungo sa kusina to cook soemthing.
Minutes passed, Yuwen called me from the kitchen to have breakfast na. Inabot ko ang remote ng TV to turn it off. Sinuot ko ang slides na ipinahiram sa akin ni Yuwen saka naglakad papunta sa kitchen. I helped him set the table then we eat after.
"Yuwen," Tawag ko sa kaniya.
"Yes?"
"Namiss ko 'to." I pouted but later on, I showed a smile.
"How about the cook? Did you miss him?"
After eating breakfast, tinulungan ko din siya magligpit. The usual. And that was when I noticed something again, he's wearing the watch I gifted him.
"Ba't palagi mong suot 'yan?" I asked him tuloy out of curiousity.
"Its sentimental. Galing sa'yo e. I don't want it off my wrist, why?"
"Wala." I continued washing the dishes.
"Do you have your car with you?" He asked, drying the plates I washed using a paper towel.
Seconds passed before I answered his question. "Wala." I lied.
"Hatid kita."
Tumango ako.
Ipapasundo ko nalang kay Sabring kotse ko. I decided to stay longer in Yuwen's condo kaya naman around dinner time na niya ako hinatid.
"Hindi ka papasok?" Tanong ko kay Yuwen as I unfasten my seatbelt.
"Nah. Wala akong dala for your parents, nakakahiya." Tanggi niya.
Bumaba siya ng kotse at umikot patungo sa sa kabilang side upang pagbuksan ako ng pinto.
"Hindi ka pa bababa?" Nagtaka siya.
I look at him with so much hesitation.
"Fine, I'll say hi to Tito and Tita."
I smiled and went out of his car. Hinintay ko siya sa may gate para sabay kami pumasok ng mansion. He parked his car properly sa may gilid ng gutter ng house and turned off the engine.
Naglakad siya papunta sa direksyon ko. As we about to enter the mansion, agad na nagbukas ang gate. Someone opened it from the inside. Later on, it revealed my father standing behind.
"Dada!" I hugged him.
"Good evening po, Tito." Yuwen smiled at my Dad and took his hand para magmano. "Hinatid ko lang po si Ali-"
