Phoenix, Mia, and (Y/N) all entered the Defendant Lobby to reconvene and celebrate amongst each other. Phoenix stretched his arms, relieved that his first case had gone so well.
Phoenix: (Whew... I still can't believe we won!)
Mia patted Phoenix on the back as he turned to face her. She gave him a proud smile.
Mia: Wright! Good job in there! Congratulations!
(Y/N) pumped his fist. He was pretty excited about the ending too. He commended Phoenix with a grin.
(Y/N): Yeah, you were a bit rough at the start, but you really got into it fast! You were like a pro!
Phoenix: Th-thanks, you two. I owe it all to you both.
Mia: Not at all, not at all! You fought your own battles in there. It's been a while since I've seen a trial end on such a satisfying note!
(Y/N): You did all the work, you know. Don't be so modest! We just gave you a little nudge in the right direction, that's all.
Phoenix: (I've never seen the chief looking this happy... If she's this glad, imagine how Larry must feel!)
The three all turned to Butz who was moping in the corner of the room, still distraught for some reason.
Butz: My life is over...
(Y/N): No way... He's still like this?
They walked over to him, confused as to why he was still acting like he did before the trial.
Phoenix: Larry! You're supposed to be happy! What's wrong now!?
Butz: Aww, Nick... Don't worry 'bout me! I'll be dead and gone soon!
Phoenix: Good! Wait, no! I mean... Bad! Bad bad bad! Larry, you're innocent! The case is closed.
Butz: ... But... but my Cindy-windy's gone, man! Gone forever!
Phoenix: (Larry, she was a... Nah... Never mind.)
Mia: Congratulations, Harry!
Butz: H-Harry...?
Mia: Yes, you! I can practically see the headlines now: "Harry Butz, Innocent!"
