Were the visions really true? Did Camie see the future? Why now? She thought she would never get powers when she didn't reveal herself at 14. What happened? What had triggered it? She had touched numerous people before so why Amaltheia? Was it because she was Black Gold? Or did it have nothing to do with that?

Camie didn't know what to do with all the information she had. She knew so much! She knew about all the attacks and knew who was behind Omen. She knew about all the bullying Amaltheia would suffer from Ember Hunt and about Amaltheia's crush on the Prince of the Uni. She had to tell someone! Anyone! At least her best friend. She had to unmask the villain! Even if he had good reasons for what he was doing, Camie couldn't take Amaltheia being under so much pressure. She knew how much she would suffer in the future and she couldn't take seeing such a selfless angel fall into depression again.

She had to do something about the whole incapacity of talking. Camie quickly looked around her and when she spotted someone walking close by, she immediately ran up to them and grabbed their hand. She opened her mouth to tell them about who Omen was but once again her throat closed up and she couldn't breathe. It felt more and more uncomfortable every time she tried and this time Camie even gagged.

Being grabbed in such a way did not please the stranger naturally who pulled their hand away before screaming:

"What the hell is wrong with you?"

Camie got her breathing back on track and didn't get discouraged, running up to someone else before grabbing them too. By doing so she didn't notice that the stranger had been holding coffee and spilled it on his shirt. She immediately forgot about her plan and let go of the arm with panicked eyes:

"I'm so sorry!

-It's okay, don't worry.

-No! Please take this cookie. I'm sorry.

-It's okay...

-No! Here. Take it.

-Okay..."

Seeing the stranger walk away with her cookie made Camie sigh:

"I wanted to keep that cookie for later..."

She didn't have time to cry about it because that was when Emma finally found her:

"Camie!"

Emma grabbed her friend's shoulders before shaking her:

"What is wrong with you? How could you just run away like that? You could have died! Are you okay. Did you get hurt? Seriously! What is wrong with you? If you get hurt I'm going to kill you!

-I'm sorry. I really wanted to check something.

-What do you want to check? What it feels like to die? That's not an excuse! This was really dangerous!

-I know, I know. I'm sorry... I just wanted to check that..."

Camie's throat closed up and seeing her friend go suddenly pale made Emma worry:

"Are you okay. Did you really get hurt?"

Camie needed a few seconds to get better and that wasn't helping.

"Hey! Answer me! What's wrong? Doctor! We need a doctor!"

When she could finally talk, Camie grabbed Emma's arm:

"I'm fine. I just swallowed wrong.

-Don't scare me like that!

-I'm sorry.

-Let's go. The others are worried sick."

Camie followed Emma without a word. While they were walking, Emma couldn't stop reprimanding her but Camid wasn't paying her any attention. It seemed she couldn't talk about anything she learned from the vision. All powers came with their own rules and it seemed the price for knowing the future was never to talk about it. Camie thought this was stupid and she thought that it would be better not to know anything then.

Black Gold and Phoenix had their own rules too. Among them to never reveal their real identities. But it seemed Camie was an exception because her powers were the ones who revealed everything to her.

"Camie!"

Two figures ran up to Camie before hugging her with all their strength. Both of them had ginger hair but one was darker than the others.

"Thank Black Gold you are fine.

-We were so worried. Why would you just run off like that?"

Camie finally came back to her body and caressed the girls backs:

"I'm sorry. I won't ever do this again, I promise.

-Okay... Come on, you should have been very scared. Let's get something warm to drink."

Hearing this made Emma frown:

"Is that all?

-I'm sure you already lectured her enough."

Emma rolled her eyes but didn't dare say anything more and the four of them hurried inside.

Despite thinking that they were done, Camie would hear about this incident for days and Emma would even pout for two whole days before talking to Camie normally again. Camie wasn't angry, she knew that she was the one in the wrong and she did feel bad for dragging her friends into danger. But she never thought that they would run after her. She thought that it would be way easier to run into battle. Camie did mean it when she said it was the last time however. After all, she knew that Black Gold was really Amaltheia now. She didn't need anything else from the battle.
