Théa's heart was beating very fast for some reason. Hearing that continuous sound, Camie felt that she was drifting away.
"Camie?"
The latter suddenly jumped:
"Yes? You are right."
Théa laughed:
"Are you tired? We can just sleep, it's okay."
Théa placed her arm under Camie's head and Camie immediately placed her head under Théa's chin. Théa found Camie so adorable that she couldn't fall asleep for hours. Camie's breathing quickly slowed down but Théa on the other hand just couldn't stop staring at her. She didn't see time go by and she got very ashamed of her behavior. Would Camie think that she's a creep? She should stop staring at her. She quickly closed her eyes to sleep. But she couldn't fall asleep no matter how hard she tried. She didn't want time to go by. She feared that if she went to sleep, that time they spent together would go by in a wink.
When she woke up the next day, Camie was still surrounded by Théa's arms. She tried getting up but Théa was holding her so tight that she couldn't move an inch. She wasn't hurting her but she still couldn't leave. Camie felt shy now that she could see Théa and she didn't dare look up at her face.
"Théa..."
Camie covered her mouth. Her breath must have smelled terrible. She had to crawl out as soon as possible and drink some water. But Théa still wasn't letting go:
"Théa?"
She groaned but only pulled Camie closer to her if that was possible.
"Théa!"
Théa finally woke up and seeing Camie all flushed made her freeze. She stared at Camie for long seconds as if not understanding what she was doing there. Her right hand slid up to Camie's face and she bent closer to her.
"Théa?"
Théa finally seemed to wake up and she immediately let go of Camie
"I am so sorry! I thought I was still dreaming.
-It's okay."
Camie quickly crawled out of bed and she rushed out to get a glass of water. Théa followed Camie out a few minutes later and they finished the show while eating breakfast. Théa seemed happy that Camie was spending time with her but Camie didn't want to impose either. Therefore after helping Théa do the dishes, she cleared her throat:
"I should get going."
Théa's head jerked up:
"Why?
-I have been here for a very long time.
-I like having you here."
Camie pinched her lips. She really wanted to stay more but wouldn't that be weird? Seeing her face made Théa smile:
"You don't bother me, Camie. I love having you over. If you could stay for a week I would love that but I don't want your father to worry either."
Camie laughed:
"A week would be exaggerated.
-Then six days?"
Camie laughed again, thinking that Théa was joking. However, feeling Théa staring at her strangely made her clear her throat:
"I guess I could stay one more night."
Seeing Camie blush made Théa very happy:
"You are so cute."
Camie immediately froze and she tried her best to find something to do with herself:
"You're hungry? Should I make something?"
Théa smiled:
"We just ate, Camie.
-Right! Then we should drink some tea."
Théa followed Camie while laughing. After one more night at Théa's house, Camie woke up in the hero's arms again. She thought that she would finally go home that morning but Théa didn't seem ready to let her go. Every time Camie looked like she was about to leave, Théa found something to say.
At some point Théa suddenly started telling Camie something about her past. She started talking about the time she cried her eyes out because she couldn't be a hamster. Camie found that story adorable and she had never heard about it in the visions. She was so interested that Théa soon started feeling shy. She suddenly realized what she had revealed to Camie but seeing her shining eyes was worth it. Another time Théa showed Camie pictures of her as a child. Camie never liked looking at pictures but somehow she couldn't stop swiping on Théa's phone. Again another time, Théa caught Camie's interest by telling her about Camie's favorite show:
"I haven't seen it yet but it looks very good."
Camie couldn't contain her excitement:
"You should! It's the best show on Earth! There's everything in it! It's funny, it's very interesting and the character development is the best I've ever seen. At the beginning one of the characters seems a bit passive but then she gets angry and gets revenge and it was so satisfying. No one is either good or bad in the show except for a few annoying people, they are all gray and you decide if you like them or not. And the way they interact! It's just perfect! My favorite is the main character and that's very rare. I usually hate the main character because they are boring. But this main character is fascinating! It's a hero that turns into a villain!"
Camie suddenly realized that she was rambling and she bit her lips:
"Anyway. You should watch it."
Théa smirked:
"We could watch it together if you don't mind watching it again."
Camie almost fell off her chair:
"Really?"
After watching three episodes, Camie started gathering her things. Théa immediately took out her favorite snacks and Camie sat right back down. Camie got trapped each time and someway six days went by.
Camie didn't notice how fast time was going by and she always got back to her senses once it was already dark outside. Each time she would apologize to Théa but the latter would just smile:
"I don't mind you staying at all. I can't let you go home so late."
She would go get Camie clean clothes and they would go to sleep together. Camie had never spent so much time with someone before. Usually she would need time alone after having spent time with someone but no matter how much time she spent with Théa, her social battery stayed charged. In a few days she could completely forget about the outside world. She didn't think about heroes, about the future, about the vision, about Lula... All she did was have fun with Théa.
After a few days, Camie started walking around the house as if she was home and while Théa was washing up, Camie stayed in her room, looking at her phone. As she was watching videos, she started walking up and down the room when something suddenly caught her eye. Camie didn't notice before because the only moments she had spent in Théa's room were to sleep. All around the room were Théa's drawings.
They weren't in plane sight and Camie had to really look to find them but they could be found in every corner. They were under every textbook, under her desk, inside her drawers... Camie didn't dare open the drawers at first but it started feeling like a treasure quest. She started collecting the sketches like pokemon cards and she slowly got more and more excited.
Théa was really talented. She was the kind of talented where even her sketches looked worthy of being in a Museum. Camie couldn't understand how some people could be this good at drawing. She was fascinated by how different people could be and she tried to understand how Théa moved her pencil for it to draw these shapes. She loved Théa's works and she bent very close to look at them. Her nose was almost touching the paper at that point and Camie's mouth was wide open. She was so focused that she didn't realize that she was drooling. She suddenly woke up when she felt the liquid on her chin and she quickly closed her mouth.
She looked around her to make sure that she was alone but that was when she saw Théa standing in the door with a bright smile.
