Camie had no idea where to put herself and she started looking around for a way to escape. Why was Lula getting worked up suddenly? She wasn't completely paying attention to the conversation so she had no idea what was going on. Did she say something to get her upset? Should she have cared more about what was being said?

"Théa will stop paying attention to you once she gets bored of you. And it will happen because she is just too generous. Once she finds someone more pitiful than you she will abandon you. If you understand that, you should stop talking to her.

-Did you just call me pitiful?

-I would never dare.

-I am not deaf.

-I am just looking out for you because I don't want you to get hurt. I am just trying to help.

-I don't need help.

-You don't understand. You should stop talking to her for your own good.

-I will decide what's best for me. Théa is very nice and I already agreed to be friends with her. If someday we get bored of each other then we will stop talking. Until then we will continue talking.

-You don't understand. She doesn't see you as a friend! You are nothing to her.

-Why do I feel like you are trying to convince yourself instead of me?

-What the hell are you talking about? Stop being delusional. Did you think that Théa was in love with you or something?"

Camie felt like she should stop talking at this point. Lula wasn't listening anyway. It didn't matter what she said or what was true. Lula was just rantind.

"She doesn't care about you.

-You've already said that. Let's move on. I have class, bye."

However, Lula didn't let Camie leave and grabbed her by the arm to force her to listen:

"I am only going to say it once: stop talking to Théa.

-And I am only going to say it once: let go of me."

Camie tried pulling away but Lula grabbed her even harder:

"Promise me that you won't talk to her ever again.

-I warned you."

Camie grabbed Lula's wrist and dug her nails into her skin. This immediately made Lula let go:

"What the hell is wrong with you! Are you crazy?"

Camie didn't feel like Lula deserved an explanation and started walking towards her building. Seeing her leave, Lula started following her:

"You made me bleed! How could you do this to me? I was only trying to help."

Seeing that Camie wasn't listening anymore, Lula continued her monologue:

"How could Théa be interested in someone as crazy as you? If you don't stop talking to her, I am going to destroy your reputation. I am going to tell Théa that you hurt me because you were madly in love with her and couldn't take me being around her. I am going to tell her that you do disgusting things thinking about her. So for your own good, stop talking to Théa."

By the time Lula finished talking, Camie finally reached her building. She opened the door and turned back to Lula before saying:

"Make me."

And she closed back the door, leaving an angry Lula behind. Camie didn't want to become someone precious to Théa. Because of all the visions, Théa felt more like a famous actress to Camie than a real person and not once had she thought that they could be friends. But she would never admit this to Lula and the more she would tell her to stay away from Théa, the more she would cling to her.

And Camie would start her plan the very next moment she saw Théa. The latter had been talking with Lula in front of the fountain and Camie immediately ran up to them with a friendly smile:

"Hi, Théa! How are you?"

Seeing Camie come up to her first made Théa glitch.

"Hi! I-I'm fine. What about you? Did something happen?"

Camie tilted her head:

"What do you mean? Nothing happened. I just wanted to say hi. By the way, I was wondering if you saw the cookie lady today."

Théa immediately opened her bag but she opened it so fast that half of her notebooks flew away. Théa started blushing but Camie crouched down and helped her collect her stuff without a word.

"I am glad that you asked. I precisely had a cookie for you. Here.

-Thank you!"

Camie turned to Lula with an exaggerated smile:

"Would you like some, Lula?"

The latter turned a bit red but she forced herself to smile.

"No thank you. I am not hungry."

Camie didn't know why Lula wasn't doing everything she said. Why wasn't she getting mad at her in front of Théa and telling her about the way she dug her nails into her arm? Camie didn't know why Lula stayed silent but she liked tormenting her:

"Oh, my. What happened to your arm? Did you get hurt?"

Lula hid her arm behind her back, her smile shaking a bit:

"Oh, it's nothing serious. It was just my cat.

-Really? That's quite a dangerous cat."

Both of the girls laughed. Camie had her fun and she felt like it was enough. She wasn't childish enough to lower herself to Lula's level and she was ready to go back to ignoring her.

"I have to go, bye.

-Camie, could you wait, please?"

Camie turned back to Théa:

"Yes?

-Would you mind going to the cafeteria together tomorrow?"

Camie nodded:

"Okay."

Théa looked very excited and that made Camie take a step back:

"See you tomorrow."

As she was walking away, Camie suddenly realized that maybe she should have told Théa about what Lula had told her. Shouldn't Théa know? What if Lula acted the same way with everyone around Théa?

If one of Camie's friends acted this way, she would want to know. But should Camie be the one to tell her? Wouldn't Théa get mad at her for minding something that isn't her business? Camie didn't like butting into something she shouldn't and usually she always chose to let people do whatever they wanted. But this was different. Théa should know everything to make her own decision. And if she decided that despite what had happened, Lula still deserved to be her best friend, then Camie couldn't do more.

But would she be able to leave it at that? Camie knew that Théa forgave Lula more than easily in the visions. So if she told her, Théa would forgive Lula immediately and then what? Lula would continue acting this way and that would be annoying for Camie. If Théa stayed friends with Lula then Camie would probably stop hanging out with her. And that was fine. They weren't close to begin with so Camie didn't mind not being friends anymore. But it did feel a bit weird not talking to Théa again. Who would give her cookies instead of her?

Camie shook her head. She couldn't stay friends with someone just because it would be weird not talking to them anymore. Despite having decided that, Camie still didn't tell Théa about anything that happened with Lula. She did tell her friends however and she had to plead with Emma for long minutes for her not to go talk to Lula.
