Journalists turned immediately to Camie the second they heard her stumble out the door. The questions immediately took up and Camie got blinded by a few flashes. However the latter was way too angry to mind anyone at this point. She grabbed her phone and extended the article towards the cameras:

"Who wrote this?

-Do you have anything to say about this article?

-Could we have your testimony?

-Of course you can. She didn't hurt me! I wasn't begging her! I was crying because she had just saved my life!"

However for some reason her words weren't taken the way she wanted.

"Would you say that this event was traumatizing for you?"

Camie could feel that this question was dangerous for some reason and she thought about it twice before saying anything:

"It was a very traumatizing situation indeed but it could have been way worse if Black Gold hadn't been there.

-So you agree that you have been traumatized?

-No. I said the situation could be traumatizing. But I am fine.

-So Black Gold put you in a traumatizing situation.

-What? When did you hear m say this? You are only listening to what you want. It's the other way around and I told you that multiple times."

Camie's friends were trying to drag her away at this point:

"Come on, they don't deserve your attention.

-Don't mind them. We will post a video on internet that will be easier."

But Camie pushed them away:

"No! I am ending this here and now otherwise it will only get worse."

But Camie didn't even have time to talk at this point. Questions were coming from all around her and she wasn't even listened to at this point. No one cared what she was saying and they just asked things again and again:

"Do you think that Black Gold is working for Omen?

-What? Of course she isn't! Are you crazy?

-Wouldn't she have already found him if she didn't? Or is she incompetent?

-No one else is more competent than her!

-Shouldn't we replace her at this point? It has been years since Omen appeared and nothing has been done.

-Why are you not doing anything about it? Instead of opening that useless mouth of yours?"

Just as she said that, Camie grabbed the microphone closest to her and smashed it to the ground:

"If you don't listen to my answers then don't ask questions."

The journalists didn't get scared. On the contrary, they couldn't help getting closer and closer to Camie. All she could see at this point were cameras and microphones were pushed into her face:

"Are you under the control of Black Gold?

-Is she making you say all these things?"

Camie couldn't take it anymore. If no one was going to listen, then she was going to kick them to the ground. She grabbed one of the reporters by the arm and didn't want to let go. Camie's friends had been pushed back by the reporters and finally managed to push themselves back. Seeing Camie this aggressive, they grabbed her in an attempt to pull her away from all the cameras. But Camie wasn't yielding and the crowd around them wasn't helping either.

"You stupid humans! You don't deserve Black Gold! She protected you for 8 years and this is all she gets from you? You don't deserve her help! You deserve to die!"

Emma grabbed Camie's arm, trying to force her to let go of the journalist. Topiary on the other hand grabbed her other arm to pull her away from the crowd while Nylore went for a different approach. She decided to hug Camie with all her strength and talk her out of this. This scene seemed to please the reporters a lot and one of them even snarled:

"That girl is going to get us on the first page. I love hysterical women."

This was too much for Emma. She immediately let go of Camie and turned towards the man who had talked. The next second she raised her hand, ready to slap him with all her strength. Fortunately Camie was quicker and now it was her time holding back Emma:

"Let me go! I'm going to kill that pig!

-What did you just say? Who are you calling a pig?

-Look in the mirror, filthy swine!"

The journalist turned red suddenly and started spitting at Emma:

"Say it one more time!

-Swine! Swine! Swine!"

Topiary and Nylora looked at their friends, puzzled. Who were they supposed to hold back now? Camie or Emma? Having no idea, they just shrugged and joined Emma in her screaming contest:

"He is a pig!

-He is disgusting!"

Now the crowd tried holding back the journalist too while he was screaming at Emma. The latter smirked, still trying to get out of her friends hold:

"Who is being hysterical now?"

This was the last straw. The man looked like he was going to have a heart attack and he pushed a guy on his right so hard that he fell and broke his camera. Fortunately a second later security arrived and helped the four young girls escape the grown adults. They took them to a classroom and asked them if they were hurt. Physically they were fine but Emma was far from calm:

"Let me go back there! I am going to smash in that stupid face of his!"

The security guards were taken aback by the young woman's velocity and they looked at each other, having no idea what to do. Seeing them lost, Topiary said:

"We will take care of her. It's fine."

The security guards shrugged:

"If you say it's fine, then it's fine."

And they left as quickly as they arrived. It took the girls another half an hour to talk Emma out of going back out there but they finally managed to and the four of them sat down, exhausted. Having no idea what to say to lighten the mood, Camie smiled:

"What a day, right?"

Nylora laughed:

"When I woke up this morning, I was far from imagining that I would trigger a false alarm and that a second later real villains would appear."

Topiary suddenly remembered that part:

"Right! Camie, how did you know that this would happen?"

All eyes turned to her and Camie froze. She couldn't answer. She physically couldn't. Just as she opened her mouth to say something, Emma cut her off:

"She said that we had to trust her. And we did. No questions asked."

Topiary and Nylora slowly nodded:

"Right..."

They didn't pry anymore but it was obvious that they were curious. Emma as for her only smiled and Camie thanked her with a nod:

"I would love to explain but I really can't. It has nothing to do with you. I just... Can't.

-And that's okay. Just know that we will always have your back. No matter how crazy it sounds.

-Thank you. I appreciate it."

Emma slapped her thighs before getting up:

"Let's go get something to eat. I am dying."

And just like that, they went on with their day as if nothing happened.
