The movie ended on a terrible note and the girls decided to watch another movie, not wanting to end the night on the first one. After the second movie ended and all the ice cream was gone, the girls stayed and talked for a few more hours. Seeing that the Sun would come up an hour later, they decided that it was finally time to go to sleep.

"And how are we going to sleep?"

Théa counted in her head:

"There are three rooms you could sleep in. There is my room where two people could sleep. There are also two other rooms with a double mattress. One downstairs and one at the end of the corridor.

-We won't throw you out of your own room."

Théa shrugged:

"I don't mind.

-No, it's okay. We can take the two other rooms."

Nylora glanced at Camie before looking back at Théa:

"I always sleep alone. So if it's okay I would love to have one of the rooms with the double mattress for myself. Maybe someone could sleep with Théa in her room."

All eyes turned to Camie for some reason and the latter nodded:

"I could."

Seeing all her friends smile made Camie frown. What did she say? They had been acting weirder and weirder lately. If Camie was picking up on it then it really must have been weird. She thought about asking but she realized that this gave her the possibility to be alone with Théa. Maybe once they were alone, Théa would finally talk about what happened and she could open up to someone. She didn't want to force her in front of the others but here was the opportunity.

The girls went back for their bags before following Théa to their respective rooms.

"Have a good night!"

Being left alone, Camie followed Théa to her room. The latter opened the door and stepped aside to let Camie walk in first.

"Thank you.

-Do you have a favorite side to sleep on?

-I always sleep on the left.

-Then you can have the left side."

Camie pinched her lips:

"But for one night I don't care. You can have the left side.

-No, it's perfect. I prefer the right side anyway.

-Perfect."

Théa smiled:

"It looks like we are made for each other."

The way Théa was looking at Camie was very intense. Camie cleared her throat before crawling in bed. Seeing her do so made Théa frown:

"Did I make you uncomfortable?"

Camie shook her head.

"No. You can tell me anything you want. I won't run away anymore.

-Really? It kind of makes me want to try. Just kidding."

Théa went to turn off the lights and a few seconds later Camie could feel her crawl on the bed as well. Camie turned around. She couldn't see Théa but she could feel her proximity. Now that they were alone, Camie felt that it could be the perfect opportunity to have Théa talk about how she was doing. Camie was about to ask about how she was feeling but Théa was quicker:

"Did you have fun tonight?"

Camie nodded before remembering that it was too dark to see her and she had to use her words:

"Yes. I had a lot of fun. Thank you so much.

-I am glad you did. You are always welcome here.

-And you?

-I always have fun as long as I'm with you, Camie."

Camie was glad that Théa couldn't see her face. She had the bad habit of blushing easily. She really had to work on that someway.

"Me too..."

Camie could feel Théa push herself up suddenly. It was so sudden that Camie rolled closer to Théa's side:

"Could you please say it again?"

Camie had trouble pushing herself back to her side. She couldn't stop sliding closer to Théa and she decided to give up and just lay back:

"I love being with you, Théa."

Now that she couldn't be seen, Camie was getting braver and braver:

"I knew that we said we would be friends but I didn't think I would like you so much. To be honest I have no idea what's been going on lately. I never got so close to someone so fast. I do make friends easily but it's never really deep relationships. Or at least not so fast. It takes months for me to get attached to someone. I am really grateful that I met you. You are an incredible person, Théa. Maybe that's why I like you so much. You are the best person to ever exist. I hope that we stay friends forever."

Once Camie stopped talking, she heard a long silence.

"Théa? Did you fall asleep already?

-No! I... Sorry... I know that you don't like being touched and you don't have to say yes if you don't want to but may I hug you?

-Okay.

-Really?

-Yes."

Being on Théa's side, the latter didn't have to crawl closer and could immediately take Camie in her arms. Camie felt arms surrounding her and it reminded her of what happened hours before. Camie had no idea what was going on. She never liked people touching her before but now all she felt in Théa's arms was peace. Was this the power of a hero? Camie felt all her muscles relax and she felt really comfortable. She didn't even care about going back to her side and she just closed her eyes.

"Thank you for saying that, Camie.

-I am not saying it. I mean it. You are an amazing person, Théa. I wish you all the happiness in the world and want you to do whatever you want.

-All I want is you, Camie."

Hearing that made Camie very aware of Théa's body suddenly and she realized how loud her heart was beating.

"You can do whatever you want. I will always be on your side."

Camie didn't really know how long they were supposed to hug therefore she just let Théa decide on that. However, Théa wasn't showing any signs of wanting to let go.

"Really? What if I become selfish?

-That's amazing! You should be more selfish."

That was exactly what Camie wanted.

"What if I give up on all my duties?

-You do you."

Théa giggled which made Camie feel very light. She had feared that this incident would destroy Théa but it seemed it was going the other way around. Camie would have loved Théa to give up on all her duties and do whatever she felt like doing. Once Théa was happy, Camie could finally forget about the visions and take her retirement.

"I am so happy right now."

Camie could feel her heart speed up:

"That's all I want.

-Do you want to make me happy?

-Yes."

Théa giggled again. She sounded in a really good mood that night:

"You really are the only person that wishes for my happiness."

Camie's head jerked up. She couldn't let Théa feel lonely:

"That's not true! A lot of people care about you Théa. Your parents, Emma, Nylora, Topiary, Firo, Violet... And I am sure that a lot of people will once you talk to them. You always make people love you whenever they meet you."

Théa's voice sounded weird:

"Did I have that effect on you?"
