Tia stood on the crowded subway platform, waiting for the A train to arrive. As she scanned the busy crowd, someone rudely bumped into her, bumping her off balance. An immediate surge of anger ran through her veins.
"Bitch, you might wanna say excuse me!" Tia shouted with aggression, her voice cutting through the noise. The girl turned around, and Tia's eyes narrowed in recognition. It was Erika, her longtime rival.
"Don't make me fuck you up, Erika!" Tia warned, her voice filled with both anger and determination. Erika approached with a smug smirk.
"Bitch, you ain't goin' do sh—" Erika's words were abruptly cut short as Tia swung a punch straight at her face. The impact echoed through the air as both girls engaged in a heated physical altercation.
They fought fiercely on the subway platform, a flurry of punches and scratches exchanged. The chaotic scene drew the attention of a concerned bystander, who quickly intervened and managed to separate the two. Breathing heavily, Erika touched her bleeding lip, "This ain't over, bitch!" Erika spat angrily. Tia shot back, "Let me know when you're ready to get your ass beat again!"
Feeling a mixture of adrenaline and frustration, Tia stormed off, leaving the subway station. As she emerged onto the city streets, she reached for her phone and dialed Elijah.

"Babe, look at your face," Elijah exclaimed, concern etched across his light, freckled face as he gently applied cream to her scratches. "You're too old to be fighting, Tia. What the fuck happened?"
Tia sighed, the frustration still evident in her voice. "That hoe has been hating on me since day one! She never liked me, and of course, of course it's always because of some nigga," she explained, her words mixed with bitterness.
After Elijah finished tending to her wounds, Tia decided it was best to get some rest. Exhausted from the battle, she curled up in bed, hoping to find relief in sleep. Meanwhile, Elijah sat in front of the TV, attempting to distract himself from the fight that Tia was involved in.
Just as he settled into a momentary peace, his phone rang. With a sigh, he answered the call, "Yeah?" The voice on the other end delivered a cryptic message before quickly hanging up, "You need to do what you was set out to do. Don't be fallin' in love nigga."
Elijah rubbed his hand over his face, frustrated. He knew deep down he had to set the plan in motion and stay focused.
