Two Weeks later
Tia sat across from Redman and Method Man, her notepad, computer, and recorder for their interview. "Okay so we talked about love, the music industry. What advice would you give to aspiring artists who are looking to make a name for themselves in the music industry?"
Redman said, "I would say the most important thing for aspiring artists is to stay true to themselves. Don't try to conform to what's popular or chase trends. Focus on developing your own unique style and sound. Be authentic and genuine in your music, and the right audience will find you."
Mef nodded, "Absolutely, staying true to yourself is key. In addition to that, I would advise aspiring artists to work hard, stay dedicated, and perfect their craft. The music industry is right, so it's important to put in the necessary time and effort to improve your skills and stand out from the crowd." He continued, "And lastly, don't give up. The road to success in the music industry is not easy. There will be setbacks and challenges, but perseverance is key. Keep pushing forward, keep creating, and keep believing in yourself and your talent. With hard work and determination, you can definitely make a name for yourself."
Tia listened intently, writing in her notes with a smile. "One last question, how do y'all manage family life while being in this demanding industry?"
Redman sensed Tia's intention and exchanged a look with her before responding. She ignored his expression and smiled professionally waiting for their answer.
Mef spoke, "Um...it can definitely be a challenge, but it's all about communication and finding a balance."
Redman chimed in, "Communication is key. We make it a point to have open and honest conversations with our families about our schedules and commitments. It's important for us to be present and actively involved in their lives, even when we're on the road or working on new music."
Method man added, "And having a strong support system is important too. Surrounding ourselves with people who understand our career demands and are there to support us helps us balance our responsibilities effectively."
Redman concluded, "And most importantly, we make sure to take care of ourselves as well. Self-care is essential in order to maintain our physical and mental well-being. By taking care of ourselves, we can better show up for our families and give our all to our careers. It's a constant balancing act, but we believe that with love, communication, and a strong support system, it is possible to have a fulfilling family life in this demanding industry."
Tia smiled as she wrote the last few sentences, "Thank you you both for sharing your insights on family, love, upcoming projects and balancing your career. I know your fans can't wait to hear about it." Tia closed her laptop and they all stood up to embrace each other.
"Thank you, guys, truly. I love y'all."
"We got you TiTi," Redman said giving her a hug."Yeah, you welcome Tia but now I need a favor from you," Mef said seriously. Tia looked at him cautiously wondering what the favor could be.
Next NightJaida sat on her couch scrolling on her laptop when her phone rang. 'Mef' popped up on her screen. She was surprised a little because they hadn't spoken in four weeks since Mef tried to check her about being in his business.
She rolled her eyes and answered, "Cliff, I told you I'll call you when I fin—
"Come outside." he said, cutting her short, ending the call.
