Three weeks later
Jaida sat at her desk, engrossed in her computer work. Her secretary walked into the office, breaking her concentration. "Ms. Steele, your client is here," the secretary announced. Jaida stood up, a warm smile spreading across her face, as the man entered the room. "Hello Mr. Iverson," she greeted him politely. He extended his hand for a shake and replied, "Nice to meet you, Ms. Steele. Allen." It was none other than the basketball player Allen Iverson. His light brown almond colored eyes pierced hers as they shook hands. He's definitely beautiful in person, Jaida said to herself as they broke away from the handshake. Jaida was accustomed to working with celebrities, but seeing her client list expand with such high-profile names was exciting.
"Allen, please have a seat," Jaida offered, leading the way back to her chair. "What brings you in today?" She asked. "Was looking for a spot here in the city. I'm stationed in Philly but I wanted to cop something out here." He explained.
"I want to express my gratitude for choosing us to assist you in finding your new home," she said sincerely.
He flashed her a small smile, "I mean I've been hearing great things. You the best of the best, figured I should see wassup."
There was a faint hint of flirtation in his demeanor, but Jaida remained focused on maintaining a professional atmosphere. "Alright, we will be working together closely over the next few months. Here's my contact information. Feel free to call or text me whenever you need," she said, sliding her business card across the desk.
He picked it up, holding it between his fingers, "I'll definitely be needing you." She exhaled, raising her eyebrows. He was definitely flirting. "I mean I don't want your man trippin' or anything," he added, laughing.
"We definitely don't want him tripping," she mumbled, jotting down notes on paper. Jaida knew Mef had a little crazy to him, especially what she witnessed when she was with Khairi.
"Oh so you do got a man," he asked, slightly intrigued as he watched Jaida gather some papers, arranging them neatly on her desk.
"Happily," she quickly replied, keeping her response short and professional.
He put his hands up in defense, "That's cool just had to ask."
She gave him a small smile, ignoring his flirtatious innuendos, "Please fill out these forms, and then we can get started," she said, sliding the stack of papers towards him, ready to delve into the business at hand.

"Girl, you got Allen Iverson in there," Melissa exclaimed in a hushed whisper. Jaida laughed a little. "That man is everything! Do you see him?!" Melissa continued enthusiastically. Jaida was about to respond when her secretary spotted her in the hallway.
