Tia sat eagerly on the plush couch at 'Skyline Lounge,' waiting for Shay, Jaida, and Elijah to arrive. It was the first time that the girls would be meeting Elijah, and she was filled with both excitement and nerves. Jaida arrived first. "Ahhhh!!! Look at you, lookin' all sexy!" Tia exclaimed hugging her friend.
Jaida twirled, dressed in her mini black dress, strapped heels that went all the way to the top of her thighs. "You lookin real cute too," Jaida laughed returning the compliment. "Thank you boo." They both settled down on the couch, ready to catch up.
Tia swung her hair behind her ear, "So tell me. What's been up. How's you and Mef?"
"Well I'm doing well, thank you," Jaida said laughing, "and why you asking about us like we a couple or something?"
Tia playfully pointed her finger at her, "Bitch don't try to play me like I'm stupid," Tia laughed, "y'all been real close since you fell asleep in his lap at your apartment. You said y'all been texting and talking almost everyday."
Jaida rolled her eyes, laughter escaping her lips, "Me and Mef are just friends. That's it."
"You like him?" Tia asked flatly out. She wasn't the type to beat around the bush.
Jaida shyly smiled and sighed, "As a person yes. He's funny as hell but I just can't do that fame stuff. It's just not for me," Jaida admitted.
"Jaida you need to relax and live life. Fame life isn't so bad. Mef is pretty private about his personal life anyway. Anything that gets out to the media is because he was spotted or because someone ran to the blogs," Tia reasoned.
Just as their conversation was heating up, they noticed Shay walking towards them. Tia quickly whispered to Jaida, "Don't worry, I won't mention any of this to Shay."
Jaida nodded appreciatively. "Hey Shay," Tia greeted. "Hey boo," Shay said giving Tia, "Hey Jaida." Jaida waved.
"I know its been two months of us getting together but I'm glad y'all could finally meet him," Tia exclaimed in one breath.
Shayla rolled her eyes unenthused, "Mhmm yeah let's get this over with. He better be a good pick Tia 'cause you know ima tell you 'bout yourself."
Just then, Elijah walked in, and Tia quickly adjusted herself, making sure everything looked perfect. As he approached, she rose to greet him with a kiss. "Hey, baby," she said sweetly after they separated.
