Later that evening

Tia's frustration grew as she closed her phone app and sat at the dinner table. Elijah approached her, preparing the food with a concerned expression.

"What's wrong, babe?" he asked gently.

Tia sighed, "I'm just tryna figure out how information is leaking out to Ryhme and Reason about Mef and Jaida," she said through clenched teeth, frustrated.

"You sure it's not through Mef's camp? I know it's not you," he assured her.

"Hell naw it's not me," Tia shook her head.

She paused, deep in thought, before continuing, "I know it's that Erika bitch. I just gotta find out how."

"You think Shay could possibly be leaking stuff? You know she hates their relationship."

Tia shook her head, "Honestly I don't know. After the shit she pulled with Jaida? Anything is possible."

Elijah walked over and kissed her forehead, "Listen don't stress yourself. You know know I got people that's into the hacking shit. Just tag me in when you need me," he said smiling as he walked back into the kitchen.

Tia remained silent, lost in her thoughts, appreciating Elijah's willingness to help.

Mef returned home after dropping off his kids. He hated that he had to beat around the bush these past couple of days. Now he was able to release his true feelings without any distractions. He approached Jaida, who was sitting at the kitchen counter engrossed in her phone.

The anger that built inside of him was slowly coming out as he approached her. "Yo can we finally talk?"

Jaida turned towards him, embracing herself for the conversation that she knew was coming. Their eyes locked, tension filling the room.

Mef clenched his jaw before speaking, he tried to clear his throat, wanting to mask the hurt and anger that he felt, "I sent you gifts, flowers, shit that you didn't open and probably threw away. But this right here? Isn't disposable. You really was gonna abort my baby?"

Jaida's chest heaved and her eyes welled up with tears. "Cliff this is not what I wanted for my life. I want to be married, happy and stable when I pictured of having a family," she said shaking her head.

"And I could give you all those things so what you saying?" He said nonchalantly, not seeing what the problem is.

Jaida was taken aback and scoffed at his statement. Marriage? Really?

"Cliff you have three kids what you goin do with a fourth?!" She argued raising her tone.

His eyebrows furrowed with a confused look on his face. "Ima take care of it and love on my baby!"

"You're barely home," she mentioned.

"And you knew that before or after we fucked?" He quickly challenged which made her silent. "You live in this perfect world where everything's planned out. Real life doesn't work like that, Jaida! Just because things aren't fitting your fairy tale, you want to erase my child from existence because it's inconvenient for you!" His voice grew louder and rougher, his frustration increased. Jaida fought to keep her composure, hiding her tears. She didn't want him to see her break but the way he was coming at her hurt her feelings.
