The stadium was filled with excitement as students eagerly awaited the first task of the Triwizard Tournament. However, a few students were feeling uneasy and nauseous as the deafening roars of the dragons fill the air.

"He can do this right?" Reyna asks her companions.

"I think so," Hermione's voice had a waver of uncertainty in it. "I hope so"

"That didn't help," Reyna begins to scratch her arm, a habit she had developed when she was younger.

"Hey, stop it," George grabs her hands. "You'll hurt yourself"

"It grounds my anxiety," Reyna murmurs. "Especially seeing as I didn't have time to smoke"

A cannon blasting through the arena causes Reyna to nearly jump out of her skin. The three older champions get through the task with relative ease. They had received their fair share of scrapes, bruises and burns from their dragons but nothing that Madam Pomfrey couldn't fix.

As Harry carefully steps out of the tent, Reyna feels a sudden constriction in her chest, almost as if a powerful force was squeezing her ribcage. Although the crowd erupts in thunderous applause, the noise fades into the background for Reyna, who is acutely aware of her heart racing in her ears.

Harry's eyes scan the arena, not seeing a threat so he quickly advances on the golden egg that was glinting under the rays of sun that were peeking through the clouds. But the boy had fallen for the dragon's trap and the creature seizes the boy's lack of observation as an opportunity to drop down in front of him.

The dragon's roar tears through the stadium as all of the students fall silent, their eyes locked on the scene before them. Harry sprints to take refuge behind a large rock as fire tears itself from the dragon's mouth. Reyna notices a couple of students fanning their faces, clearly feeling the heat of the dragon's flames. The witch's eyes watch as Harry stumbles around the rocky terrain, avoiding the flames that were targeted towards him.

"Your wand Harry!" Hermione screams, Reyna and the twins joining in the shouting. "Use your wand!"

"ACCIO FIREBOLT"

The bespectacled boy ducks back behind the rock to hide from the flames, biding his time. Reyna could tell Harry was worried his spell hadn't worked, his eyes anxiously scanning the sky for any sign of his treasured possession.

Quiet wooshing sounds from the distance, the noise increasing in volume as all eyes move to the firebolt that was tearing through the sky, straight towards Harry. The boy reaches up, swinging himself on the broom before taking off, soaring out of the dragon's reach. The dragon attempts to take flight to pursue Harry but the metal collar around its neck halts it in its attempts.

A loud snap fills the air and horrified gasps fill the air as the dragon breaks free of its chains, its sights locked on Harry who is quick to tear through the sky. Harry soars under the canopy of the teacher's box which also contained Ministry officials and Rita Skeeter. The dragon doesn't hesitate in following, smashing through the box smashing through the wood, causing it to shower over the occupants.
