The lively atmosphere of Kings Cross Station was palpable, as hordes of muggles hurriedly scrambled to catch their designated trains.

Amidst the bustling crowd, one could occasionally spot a wizarding family leisurely strolling towards the wall separating Platforms Nine and Ten, eagerly anticipating the sight of the iconic crimson train.

Reyna watches as Sirius enters the waiting room, Harry in tow. A small part of her felt guilty that she had spent so much time with Sirius in the past, almost, three years while Harry had been denied that opportunity due to Dumbledore's orders.

After popping her head into the waiting room, Reyna bids Sirius farewell, leaving the godfather and godson are left to converse with one another. Meanwhile, the witch makes her way towards the Platform.

With her trolley in front of her, Reyna confidently moves forward, until she vanishes through the wall and reappears on the ever-mystical Platform Nine and Three-Quarters.

As the witch makes her way towards the train, she suddenly collides with the towering figure of Draco Malfoy. To her surprise, the younger wizard takes hold of her hand and discreetly slips a note into her palm.

"Watch where you're going half-breed," The boy spits but his eyes were wide in questioning.

Reyna discreetly nods to the Malfoy heir, signalling that she currently possesses the piece of parchment. In response, he tilts his head in subtle acknowledgement before departing, heading towards the train.

Come to Compartment 12

Reyna hands over her trolley to a courteous employee, who promptly takes charge of loading her luggage onto the train. She then makes her way to the compartment, skillfully navigating through the bustling crowd, ensuring that none of her companions follows her.

"You came, I wasn't sure you would,"

With a quick flourish of her wand, Reyna secures the compartment door before deftly lowering the blinds, providing complete seclusion for the two unlikely companions.

With another wave of her wand, she casts a soundproofing spell on the door, guaranteeing that their conversation remains confidential and unheard by any other students.

"It's a rare occurrence one gets a note from Draco Malfoy requesting a rendezvous," Reyna sits opposite the boy. "Colour me intrigued"

"I'm not like my father," The boy sighs heavily. "I hide it well but I abhor everything he stands for, what most of my family stand for. I came to you because I know you'd understand better than most"

"With my mother being Marianne?" Reyna asks and receives a nod in response. "I guess you're right"

"Your mother resurrected Caleb for one sole purpose," Draco informs the witch. "She believes that you won't fight him because you want to save him. But he's loyal to her, willing to do her bidding"

"I read some of Walburga Black's books," Reyna says. "I could save him, complications arise when the resurrected has prior strong emotional connections to people"

"If that's true, Marianne isn't aware of that," Draco states. "Her plan is to send Caleb after you, for him to kill you by the end of the year. Against his wishes"

"She's going against Voldemort?"

"She's afraid of you Reyna, many of the members are. A few of them know of the plot but only ones who are skilled legilimens, meaning they can fortify their minds and hide your mother's agenda,"

"What else do you know?" Reyna asks.

"I am to take the mark at sixteen and my task," Draco exhales shakily. "My task will be to kill Albus Dumbledore"

"Before the end of this academic year, you'll turn sixteen," Reyna states.

"June,"

"We can get you emancipation papers," Reyna replies. "Removes your guardian's rights, I have somewhere safe I can hide you but it means you will not be able to return to Hogwarts"

"So you'll technically be my guardian?"

"We'd live in a safe house that only myself, you and the twins will be able to enter or find," Reyna replies.

"You'd do all this for me? The twins would as well?"

"You were born into a family that has ambitions for you to be one thing when you want to be something else. The twins understand that better than anyone,"

"I want to be a healer,"

"Then I'll teach you healing magic," Reyna shrugs. "You are the only one in your year that is almost on Hermione's level, it won't be that hard"

"They'll find someone else to kill Dumbledore," Draco replies. "Someone who shares their beliefs"

"Dumbledore's death is not a burden you have to carry on your shoulders," Reyna says softly. "His blood will not be on your hands. He is not the key to winning this war"

"How can I not let this weigh on my conscience?"

"Because you came to me seeking help, seeking a way to do the right thing. That means you're good Draco. Family doesn't define us, family is something you choose"
