Reyna retreats another step, her heart racing as she watches her father undergo a complete metamorphosis, transforming into his loathed self. The warmth and kindness that always shone through his eyes are now replaced by an eerie emptiness, signalling that he had failed to ingest the wolfsbane potion that would have enabled him to retain his lucidity.

The wolf approaches the younger teenagers when Professor Snape appears to reprimand them but a roar from her father causes him to shield the three teenagers as George watches on helplessly. Her father's paw swipes down, striking true as it sends the Professor sprawling across the floor.

"RUN!" Reyna shouts.

The witch swiftly pivots to confront her father, and in an instant, she transforms into a fox, baring her teeth and growling at her enraged father. With a deafening roar, her father lunges at her, but a massive black dog suddenly swoops in and slams into him, sending both of them tumbling away from the group of teenagers. The air is filled with the sounds of snarling and snapping as the two beasts engage in a ferocious battle, and then, finally, Sirius is hurled away from the fight.

With precision and agility, Reyna seizes the opportunity to attack. She moves soundlessly through the grass, her paws barely making a rustle. Suddenly, she charges towards her father, launching herself into the air. Her target is his chest, and she makes contact with a fierce blow that sends them both tumbling backwards. The clash of the fox and werewolf is intense and powerful, a spectacle to behold.

As George's eyes dart around the chaotic scene, he feels a sense of despair wash over him as he watches Harry's figure disappear into the distance. Merely metres away, Reyna is engaged in a fierce fight with her own father in fox form, unflinchingly defending the group of teenagers. Despite his own desire to help Reyna, George knew that he could not leave his brother and Hermione behind. He remains rooted to the spot, knowing that his brother's injury makes it impossible for them to make a quick escape.

Reyna is launched away by her father, the fox rolling across the ground before quickly recovering. A snarl falls from the fox's mouth before it charges forward. Reyna snaps at any part of her father she can get at, trying to get the werewolf into the woods and away from any of the others.

As the werewolf lashes out with its razor-sharp claws, the fox is flung through the air and disappears into the dense forest. Struggling to regain her footing, Reyna realizes that the attack has left her badly injured. She reverts back to her human form and gazes up at the werewolf, which is now moving menacingly towards her, baring its teeth and growling ferociously.

"Dad please," Reyna whispers.

The witch was using every ounce of her strength to activate the intricate runes that adorned her body, but her physical form was too weakened from the previous blow. The menacing werewolf stood before her, its mouth salivating as it fixated on its intended prey. Reyna could feel her heart pounding in her chest as she closed her eyes, bracing herself for the inevitable strike from the beast's razor-sharp claws.

"I forgive you," Reyna whispers.

A howl pierces the air which causes the werewolf's head to snap up before he turns on his heel and charges towards the source of the howl. Relief floods Reyna's system, knowing guilt would already flood her father tomorrow and if he had killed her, he wouldn't be able to live with himself. She lets her head drop back against the leaf-covered ground of the forest as she stares up at the sky.

"REYNA! REYNA WHERE ARE YOU?"

The witch found that she didn't even have the energy to call out George's name as she keeps her gaze on the stars above. The only movement she could manage was to twitch her fingers.

Reyna registered the feeling of a hand sliding under her head and as her eyes focused, George's face came into view. His brow was furrowed, and his eyes shone with concern He reached up with his spare hand and gingerly touched her forehead, eliciting a wince from the witch. When the wizard pulls his hand back, Reyna could see blood coating his fingertips.

"A rune won't cause it to fully heal," Reyna croaks out. "It was caused by werewolf claws"

"It's not too bad," George reassures the witch. "Won't mess up that pretty face"

"I'm gonna look so cool with a scar through my eyebrow," Reyna hums.

"It'll fit in with your scary, mean persona," George states. "Alright, well let's get you out of here"

George scoops Reyna up in his arms and she rests her head against his chest. The thrum of his heartbeat soothed her as she allows herself to tumble into the realm of unconsciousness. Her eyes fall closed as George holds her even closer to him, making sure to support her neck.

"I've got you,"
