^^^Safe & Sound - Taylor Swift feat. The Civil Wars (The Hunger Games: Songs From District 12 And Beyond)
-------------------------------
Heat. That was all I could feel. The burning sensation invaded all 5 senses I had and left me feeling dazed and unoriented. I squeezed my eyes shut tighter, hoping to prevent the fire from burning out my eyeballs.
Through the pitch black cover of my closed eyelids, I could still feel the searing heat (Guess whose genius idea failed?) and bright, burning colours filled my vision.
Finally, after what seemed like forever, there was a soft hissing sound and magically, the heat seemed to disappear all at once, leaving only its pungent smell.
Tentatively, I pried my eyes open slowly and scanned the scene. Everywhere, the clearing was charred black. Wisps of smoke danced upwards and slowly dissipated along with the air in the atmosphere, their sharp smell still lingering in my nostrils.
The others. My eyes then turned to search for my fellow friends as well as our attackers. Elementals lay on the ground, all unconscious with clothes, hair and skin singed and smoking, like everything else.
My comrades seemed intact, standing there with arms up to their faces, like they were warding off the fire that Aurelia had caused.
Aurelia.
My head turned to where Aurelia had been last standing, deciding to use her powers to help us escape.
She was just standing there, seemingly calm and collected, despite the fact that she had just created a raging wildfire.
My attention shifted back to the others again at the other side of the clearing. They look shell-shocked with jaws wide open.
"Well?" A voice from the opposite side spoke up and Aurelia walked towards us, picking up her discarded weapons and cleaning the dirt off with her hands. "Let's go then."
I nodded at the others. "Come on, we should go before they wake up and call for reinforcements."
Flicking my head back to quickly pull my hair back into a ponytail, I said to Aurelia, "Lead the way."
Without further speaking, Aurelia pulled her dagger back into her pocket and started trudged through the vegetation, her other hand still gripping the sword.
We all automatically followed her, not a single word spoken after that.

After a long journey trekking through the wilderness again, we finally stopped for a break. I plopped down on the ground, exhausted. Checking my phone, the clock showed '8.51 a.m.' My eyes drifted up and I frowned a little, noticing that I had only 39% of battery left.
Nearby, Rachel groaned, "My phone's at 20%. It'll die even before we reach the Palace."
"Hey," Daniel spoke up, "Mine's flat. Don't complain woman."
Logan took this as a cue somehow and stood up with his hands extended in their directions, "Come children, come to papa."
Daniel cocked an eyebrow and passed his phone to him, with Rachel rolling her eyes but doing the same.
"Hey, while you're at it, do mine too." Noah piped up lazily, tossing his phone to Logan.
Logan barely managed to catch it with one hand before it went free-falling to the ground, shooting him a dirty look.
A small smile tugged at my lips as I stretched out my phone too.
Logan groaned but took it nonetheless.

Fantasy"No...no way...that's just...impossible!" I gestured wildly to Principal Nicholson's outstretched palm. "Allison, when you're an Elemental, nothing is impossible. And you, my dear, are one of them. One of us." "I'm...I'm an Elemental?" Looking down...
