Chapter 46- Memories

Shinso held out is hand and guided Fae up from bed. With his hand resting on her hip, they both smiled at Kaminari. 

"Does he always fall asleep right after sex?"

Shinso undid his bun and shook out his long purple mane as he nodded. "Yup. He had decent control over his quirk now, but sex is still one of those times he short circuits himself."

Fae looked lovingly at the blonde man sprawled out like a starfish in the middle of her pink queen bed. The sheet just barely covered his butt as his arms and legs jutted out in random directions, but it was the obnoxiously loud snoring and a small dribble of drool that made her heart clench. "Well I guess it's alright as long as he's happy!"

Shinso had pulled on a pair of low-hanging sweats as he glanced over at the smiling blonde. "And what about you?"

"What about me?"

"Are you happy?"

Fae accepted the outstretched shirt and held it up to her fluttering heart. Gold eyes locked with purple as they always had. Soft as a butterflies kiss, she whispered, "Very."

Shinso's pride soared even though his face remained blank. He hummed his acknowledgment before turning away to his duties. "I'm going to get food, water, and towels ready. You can wait here with Denki if you'd like. I'll be back in a bit to take care of you two."

Fae shook her head and pointed to her waterfall of golden hair. "I gotta brush this out before bed otherwise I'll have a huge rats nest."

Shinso peaked at her from the corner of his eye as he walked down the hallway with the girl wearing his large Edgar Allen Poe T-shirt. "I'll remember that."

"What?"

"It's my job to take care of you guys after sex. You two give me your bodies willingly. I know I enjoy more intense sessions, so the very least I can do is make sure my partners are comfortable afterward. Next time, I'll make sure to brush it before you go to sleep."

Fae had never met a man as loving as Hitoshi Shinso. 

Sure he was montone, curt, and distrusting to a fault, yet as he gathered up a few water bottles, granola bars, and Denki's favorite goldfish, she realized how much Shinso truly cared for people in his own non-verbal ways. Even if he'd never say the words, the man of action would always try his best to show his loved ones how much he was there for them. 

Shinso paused when he saw Fae blushing at him from her place frozen in the hall. "What's wrong kitty?" 

Fae shook her head cutely. Despite her racing heart, she murmured, "It's nothing. I just realized how kind you are."

As he walked past her, he kissed the top of her head and rumbled, "Only to the people I care about, and that includes you now kitty."

Fae withheld her girly squeals until she locked herself in the spare bathroom. She stared at herself in the mirror and let off a silent scream of giddiness. She did a seriously hideous quirky dance only Denki could ever love as she relished in her childhood crush finally coming to care for her. After she continued to booty shake and fist bump in joy, she brushed out her locks and returned to the bedroom. 

Shinso had already forced Kami to drink some water and kissed him back to sleep, so he was screwing the lid back on by the time Fae wandered in. "Hey kitty, you tired?"

Fae went to shake her head, but a huge yawn forced its way past her lips. When he gave her a knowing gentle smile, she smiled sheepishly, "Maybe a little."
