Plans for how to deal with Chisaki ran late into the evening. Eventually, Kirishima and Ahri had to pick their babies up from Tamaki's house while Lore and Bakugo had to go save Shoto from their own. Mina left around the same time Elise and Sero did, all of them promising to be in touch once Shinso let them know exactly what he needed. Thus that left Shinso's apartment empty aside from the two halves of his hearts sitting quietly on the couch. Shinso wandered behind them and kissed each of their heads.

"Are you two ready for bed?"

"Yeah," Denki answered for them since Fae was dozing off on his shoulder.

"Okay kitten, you've got her?"

"Mhmm. I got some muscles under here somewhere," Denki chuckled as he flexed beneath his oversized pokemon sweatshirt.

"Ugh huh," Shinso teased dryly before flicking his nipple piercing to make his blonde boyfriend shiver in amusement. "Go to bed Denks, just don't drop our kitty."

"Your lack of faith wounds me!"

"Yeah well I'm about to get wounded for real, so just take her to bed for me, yeah?"

"You got it catdaddy." Kaminari picked Fae up in a bridal carry effortlessly. As he passed Shinso, he tipped his lips up for a smooch.

After his kiss, Shinso pulled out Fae's phone and groaned for one last second before dialing the number he had literally zero desire to call.

Almost instantly the phone was picked up and Kendra barked, "WHERE ON GODS GREEN EARTH HAVE YOU BEEN, YOU BEEEEEATCH!!!!???"

Shinso pinched the bridge of his nose in annoyance. "She's been with me."

"Oh..." the moment of silence that passed through the phone was aggressively tense. "Brainfuck."

"That is not my name."

"Close enough." He could hear Tetsutetsu in the background jovially call out, "Hey Hitoshi!! How ya do'n man!?"

Assuming he was on speaker phone, Shinso sighed, "I'm fine Tets. I'm calling to let Kendra know she needs to come pick Fae up in the morning."

Somehow hearing the ominous undertone to the usually serious man's voice, Kendra snapped, "What the hell does that mean?"

"It means Denki and I both work tomorrow, so we can't drive Fae to work. I don't know if you have a day job, so I'm letting you know that Fae needs someone to take her in tomorrow."

"Why the fuck can't she drive herself?" In an boom way too loud for the perpetually sleepy man to ever find not obnoxious, Kendra roared, "DID YOU BRAINWASH HER AGAIN AND FUCK UP HER QUIRK?!?!!"

Tetsutetsu must have wrangled the phone away from her because his voice was much more clear as he nagged, "Remember what we said about not jumping to conclusions?? Give the man a chance to defend himself at least!" To Shinso he whispered, "Please tell me you didn't do that though!"

"No I didn't," Shinso sighed in pure annoyance.

"Oh! See honey? This is why we don't jump to conclusions!"

"Give me the damn phone, you metalmunchingmoron!"

"That's a new one, I like it," Tetsutetsu laughed brightly as he crowed, "handing off the phone now, love you big cat."

Wondering what the hell his life was becoming, Shinso murmured to the ceiling, "Love you too."

Kendra took back the phone. "So what the hell happened that Fae now needs a chaperone?"
