Now is the time to douse

This fire

Because all you do is arouse

The life of a pyre

One that should be shun

But I feel better as I look back at the flames

Now that this is all done

Now that these games

Are done

I am laying down

Done with this so called fun

Laying here with a frown

I think back to those times

Sitting there with a smile

Busting these rhymes

Wondering if it is worth my while

Is this the end of what once was

I look back at the flames

Wondering how long this will las'

Laughing at these games

Do you still want to play

You are like a pawn

The pieces will fall my way

As we wake up to the dawn

I am wondering if I will ever

Wake up from this dream

My heart so cold and sever

Looking at your face gleam

Your soul

Drains everything from within

Till I am dull

You can trace this back to sin

Now is the time

For this to be done

I'm not a mime

I walk alone

Many will follow

Many will be deceived

Then will shortly wallow

I will be relieved

I have already had enough pain

This is the end of this foolish game

I am still sane

But your fate will be the same

So now you're six feet deep

This quarrel is now over

I will not weep

Standing in a field of clover

I remember the fire

I wish it was back

The life of a pyre

I'm under attack

My soul is distraught

But my mind

Is in a lot of thought

Nothing will I find

That I didn't already know

The life of a pyre

Will surely show

That I am on a thin wire

About to break

About to go crazy

Wondering what to do with this snake

My vision so hazy

This life is but a game

And you're in the middle of it

I hope this brings you fame

I will never quit

This is chess and you're the king

You're under checkmate

Get under my wing

Before it's too late
