The Afflicted
Hide behind these walls
The Addicted
Are controlled like dolls
They go to school
Leave everything
Break every rule
Have nothing
They live at home
Constantly abused
Barely roam
Their parents constantly amused
They dye their hair black
They tattoo their skin
Under attack
They never win
They paint their nails
Love pain
Accompanied by wails
The life they drain
They are distraught
They lose their path
Forget the morals they were taught
Feeling everyone's wrath
The ultimate cast away
Stays strong
Still prone to decay
Wonder where they belong
I am this person
I wonder where I fit in this world
My life begins to worsen
I sat there and twirled
Leaving everything behind
I run into the darkness
Running blind
Feeling so heartless
The Afflicted
Hide behind these walls
The Addicted
Are controlled like dolls
