Chapter 3: Dating advice

"Momo Watari."

"Hah?"

"Momo Watari!"

"How the hell did you get into my house?!"

"I let myself in, duh."

"You're trespassing."

"Your mom doesn't mind. She just baked cookies, by the way. They were amazing."

"Get out."

Akane was still standing in Sasuke's doorway with her hands on her hips, looking determined. "Anyways, that's her name. Momo Watari from class 2-C."

"Who's that?" He asked, sitting up from his bed. She puts her hand over her mouth and gasped.

"The girl you were making goo-goo eyes at!! You don't remember?!" Realizing her explanation, Sasuke went back to his laptop over his pillow with closed eyes.

"And why do I need to know anything about her? Have an interest in her, most of all?"

Grumbling under her breath, Akane glared at him as she took a few steps forward in front of his bed. "Because you think she's attractive!"

"No, I don't."

"Don't lie! I saw the way you were looking at her and her baby-doll eyes!" She retorted, pressing the pause button on his laptop to shut off the music. He glared back at her.

"You must be seeing things," he pressed the play button again to try to blurt out her nag.

"You want to bet?" She challenged him. "I mean, don't get me wrong. She's super cute! I would definitely have a woman crush on her if I were lesbian!"

"Oh my god. Please be quiet."

"Sasuke, come on! You noticed, didn't you?!" Akane whined, now sitting beside him on his bed.

He looked at her, angrily. "Noticed what?"

"Her big boobs, of course! I'm so jealous, compare to mine! Don't you think they look great?!"

"Ye-I mean, no!" He corrected himself quickly and Akane wasn't a slow slug on that, as she pointed dangerously at his embarrassed face.

"Ah-hah! SEE!! I knew it! You do have a thing for girls with big chests! I can see it through your red face!" Slapping his both hands on Akane's cheeks, Sasuke glared at her wide eyes as he shook her head.

"It's a lie. Everything's a lie!"

"I-I'm sorry!" She tried to escape from his hold and rubbed her cheeks, comforting them. "Ahhh... You're no fun! This is why you don't have a girlfriend!! A good-looking guy like you is a big waste!!"

Sighing, Sasuke went back to his laptop to shut it down. "Unlike you, I don't date multiple ones and breaking up with them after a month."

"Heeey... That's because they weren't good guys after I got to know them more! It's hard, you know!" She protested. This made Sasuke chuckle lightly to himself, closing his computer and crossing his arms.

"Yeah, yeah... But seriously, Akane. Even if I am interested or not in... Momo, I would like for you to just leave it alone. I'm really not up for it," he explained while putting his chin in her palm. "I'm fine the way it is right now."

Slouching her shoulders, Akane huffed and laid her head on his shoulder. "Oh, fine...! I was really excited for you about this.."

"I know," he pets her hair. "I chose the path of single men. Maybe one day, okay?" Pouting at him, Akane nodded and smiled.

"Well, you still have me as your female friend, right?" He continued to chuckle at her, putting his hand through his hair.

"Oh, and next time, please call me before you come to my house. And knock before walking into my room."

She laughed. "Now that's no fun! I like to show up here unexpectedly and bug you, and eat your mom's cookies!" Shaking his head, Sasuke rolled his eyes at her for the reason why she came here.

He smiled to himself.

My only female friend, huh....

The next morning, both Sasuke and Akane walked together to school like their usual routine. Before they approached near their school, the brunette had an cunning idea as she gaped at the raven widely.

"Hey, hey. Sasuke, give me a piggyback ride! I'm getting sleepy," she said while tugging at his shirt. She looked like a child when she rubbed her eyes while doing it. He simply declined.

"I told you to go home yesterday. You stayed over at my house too long," he scolded, trying to shoo her. Akane made watery eyes at him, looking gloomy.

"But, but... Your mom baked me a lemon pie! I couldn't leave it!"

"I swear, she spoils you too much..."

"Hey, look over there," pointing ahead of them, Akame noticed someone standing by the entrance of their school and leaning against the brick wall. To Sasuke's surprise, he immediately became quiet when his eyes saw black hair and blue eyes.

It's Momo.

Her blue eyes found theirs, mostly looking towards at Akane as she pushed herself off the wall. "Ah! Good morning!" She walked over to them, and Akane smiled at her.

"Good morning! Were you waiting for us?" Momo nodded.

"Y-Yes.. I just... I just want to properly introduce myself. My name is Momo Watari and I want to say thank you again for standing up for me the other day," she greeted kindly. This made Akane feel speechless about her.

Ugh... She is too good.

"Oh, no problem! I'm Akane Chiharu, and this..." She elbowed Sasuke's ribs again as she caught him staring at Momo wondrously... Again. "...is Sasuke Uchiha."

Momo smiled at them. "Akane and Sasuke, I'm glad! Oh, and here!" Digging in through her bag, the black headed girl pulled out a small bento box and extended her arms out for Akane to take. "I-I heard you like sweets, so I made a few cakes for you. Please, accept it!"

Almost half squealing, Akane gasped as her brown eyes became really big at the sight of the desserts. Then she suddenly hugged her. "Aww, thank you, Momo!! You shouldn't have! You're the best!"

Wow... She's better than Akane expected. She's definitely the perfect girl for Sasuke.

Giggling quietly to herself, Momo gave the bento box to her and began to turn on ahead to the school. "Well, I gotta go to class now. Have a nice day!"

"Bye, Momo~!" Waving her arm, Akane turned back to Sasuke was still looking dazed at the sight of the girl of his dreams walk away from them. She waved a hand in front of his face.

"Yoohoo... Sasuke! Wake up!" He blinked in a panic, now looking at her.

"What?" He glared.

"What's with that attitude? You could've chased after her and asked her out, you know!" Akane teased, snickering to herself. Without her knowing, Sasuke looked away from her as a blush came rushing to his cheeks.

"Shut up."
