Chapter 15: Differences

Akane was right when she said she might be third wheeling too much on Sasuke and Momo, because now it feels awfully different when it's just them together. It was a different atmosphere, like it's too comfortable and too quiet for him to stand. Not that he's complaining, but he find it a bit unsettling.

Is it a good thing, or perhaps bad?

During his date with the dark haired beauty, Sasuke waited in line to buy a few snacks before he and Momo can dwell into the Galaxy. She looked at him suspiciously when he came back from his adventure of buying food.

"Sasuke-kun? That's a lot of snacks, are you sure we can finish that before it starts?" Momo questioned as he looked down at his hands. He was carrying a bag of chips with dip, salted pretzel bites, an orange and vanilla ice cream bar, a pocket full of peach rings, and a tall bottled water.

Did he get too much?

Momo just chuckled lightly and took the bag of butter pretzels from his hold. "That's okay. I'll eat some of this."

Sasuke quirked a brow, looking at the handful of items in his hands. "How about these?"

"I thought they're all for you!" She exclaimed, making Sasuke frown in distraught. If he can eat all of this by himself, he will be amazed with his weight - sarcastically speaking. He shook his head.

"I guess I'll eat the ice cream if anything," she said while taking the plastic covered treat.

"How about the peach rings?"

She shook her head, "I don't like candy." He forgot, she's supposedly his other half.

That was one thing that happened during their date as to why Sasuke in his right mind buy all that junk food for Momo.

After attempting to finish their snacks, both Sasuke and Momo took their seats inside the planetarium and watched as the light in the room slowly dimmed while stars shone brightly above them. It was a normal date that anyone could have, simply implying that it was a date that Sasuke wouldn't do something educational and new like this with Akane. He can, but the scenario would be a complete change, imagining the brunette her being noisy and frolicking around the room.

The only thing she'll be enjoying is the food he'll buy for her.

After what felt like hours sitting in there, Sasuke was about to fall asleep towards the end until a hand shook his shoulder, snapping from his trance. "Is it over?" He asked almost eagerly.

Momo smiled and stood in front of him. "Mhm, it was interesting, wasn't it?" He tried to pull a smile, nodding his head slightly and standing up beside her.

The couple walked hand in hand outside of the building, greeted by the night breeze and traffic lights. Momo stopped by a tree as she fixed her short inched heels she wore throughout the walk. And Sasuke being the gentleman, slipping his jacket over the girl's shoulder and let her use his arm as balance to fix her shoes.

A blush crept on Momo's face as a pleasing smile reached on her lips, "Th-Thank you." Sasuke smirked and pulled her against him with his arm wrapped around her waist. Caught off guard by his bold move, Momo blushed ten times darker from forehead to neck.

"S-Sasuke-kun..." She muttered shyly as his face was coming close to hers. His hand brushed pass her cheek, letting his thumb rest over her chin to part her lips for him. Just when he was about to lay his lips over hers, Momo turned her head away sheepishly, earning a close kiss on her head.

She doesn't want to kiss him?

Sasuke looked at her questionably as a sinking feeling of rejection seeped through his chest. "What's wrong? You don't... like me?" Momo didn't reply as she inched away from him with her hands over his pecs.
